You Know, Sometimes I Forget That No One Plays League of Legends RGM's For Fun Shenanigans
Not a rant, just an observation, as well as, a realization I've had recently. I really enjoy the RGM's whenever they come around. Be it Poro King, Ascension, ARURF (despite my slight distaste for the 'random' portion of it), etc. But something that I've come to notice (late as it may be) is that no one seems to wanna play the mode as a kind of 'fun shenanigan' mode.
For example, in One For All, I never see things like Soraka, Leona, Rakan, Mordekaiser, etc. Champions that would generally be labeled as 'losses from out the gate' are rarely seen. (At least, not by me.)
Another example would be Poro King, which is basically just ARAM without the 'R' and with bans. In the mode, I pretty much always see stuff like Jhin, Xayah, Darius, Ziggs, Lux, Xerath, etc. I hardly ever see champions such as Cho'Gath, Shyvana, Elise, Lulu, etc.
It seems everyone seems to only wanna use these modes as a 'deathmatch: who can get the most kills with the most damage built' battle ring. Using the current RGM [One For All] as an example, I've pretty much only seen Lux, Illaoi (if I dont ban her), Darius, Wukong, Galio, etc. Basically anything that's too tanky to fight, especially as a cloned group or anything that does heaps of damage from the beginning of the game to the point where the game ends due to the enemy having no time to scale back or fight back.
It could just be me, and I could just be 'drawing the short end of the stick' with the players I end up with, but it is what I've been noticing.
) and you're guaranteed to block every movement from the enemies.
and
there, but each time, I have to keep my ban for
and people will either force me to play
(aka I push my lane forever and end-up before 10 minute)
