PSA: When You ACE The Enemy Team [Warning: Rant Incoming]

SHOVE OUT A GODDAMN LANE OR TWO!!!!

I can't tell you how many games I've lost over the past month due to this circumstance of players killing every enemy player and then simply recalling. Like, why?! Even if you don't have full HP, THERE IS LITERALLY NO ONE UP TO KILL YOU OR DEFEND AGAINST YOU!

I just don't get these kinds of players. You know what hurts more than this situation? Being in this situation after you've been behind all game.

Like, why would you throw away the opportunity to get BACK into the game? And, if you were winning, why would you give the enemy team a chance to comeback?

I just...I just...can't even.

Okay, rant over.

ya know whats worse.... being in this situation and being a support who cant wave clear..... and saying anything will get u a report.... ahh, impotent rage

Being a support main, I feel for you. This is probably the worse feeling in the whole game. It's odd how the support is like the backbone of any team, yet if they try to suggest anything, they're either flamed or reported for "speaking out of line".

I've considered buying a Shiv on Nami just for the waveclear

It's something, right? :p

It's situational honestly. If your minions aren't up against turrets and death timers are about 30 seconds, pushing down a turret might cost you Baron especially if you're behind.

I mean, yeah, that's true. But, if you're behind, that seems like a risk you should be willing to take. You don't have much going for you, at that time anyway, so sacrifices have to be made, I would think. Especially since, if you manage to at the very least push the minions beyond river, you'd be able to have a better idea of where the enemy will go. If you don't see them in lane defending the minions, for a certain amount of time, then they're clearly going through the jungle to Baron/Dragon. You don't have to shove all the way to the tower. Just shove the waves out to give yourself some breathing room. Because if you're behind, you need as much breathing room as you can get, right?

Played 3 games of ranked yesterday and remembered why i don't play ranked. I had splitpushing enemies all game and my teammate would shove a single wave. Just one wave, and then the splitpush would come back and take turret with ease. being braum i couldn't do shit about it.

I prefer not to play wall supports in ranked. I like supports that can do well by themselves (cough mage cough), and can be either a great support, or another carry, if, say, the other lanes don't do so hot

was gonna play veigar but he was picked out, still won tho xD

veigar is good. I like brand/anivia, tho. I guess lisandra is good too

i suck ass at brand and anivia.

Gibberwatt1 votes

But anivia is so fun - hitting them with a combo, and watching 3/4 of a full health thresh just dissapear

that doesn't make me not suck ass at them xD

On one hand, you should recall if you have low health because by the time you'll be able to Ace them it'll likely be 20 mins -- that means they'll have Homeguard, so unless you have teammates alongside you pushing the lane you'll likely have to recall. It also makes sense because you'll likely be low on mana, which means you won't be ready for an all-out teamfight again until you have that mana back. Even if you don't recall, getting an Ace gives you a free chance to go after Jungles, which ends up putting the opponent's Jungler behind if they're trying to make a comeback by going after the camps. Or you can go after Dragon or Baron, though by the time you can do this either one team is going to win outright or both teams can mess up and cause the other to win. On the other hand, if you have a Healer like Sona or Nami (or Nidalee if you don't have a specialized Healer) then you should stay unless you're low on mana. Due to Sona's mini-rework, there's not much of an excuse to recall if you have enough mana, because Sona's Ult's new passive increases the amount of healing she can do in a small amount of time.
