Why jungle is so gosh darn unpopular to low MMR players:

Bc there are no in-client Riot based resources/tutorials on what jungling is !

Probably bc jungle is subject to change but like, you could story board a pretty simple jungle path tutorial : (Red Side) Blue Wolves Red Krug as J4 then like have him gank top with some forced quick time event where he gotta mouse over E Q the enemy and he dies like wow super ezpz you did it GJ! Thats jungle in a nutshell!

Also i know there are online sources for this, but make a SMITE simulator (Practice smiting baron etc) ... i know some HIGH mmr players that need this... huehue

Also simply because low elo players are the least objective orientated and the least able to stop their lane from becoming a full raging dumpster fire as soon as one thing goes wrong. It's tough to take on everything that jungle is responsible for when the rest of the team is only going to make it a lot more difficult for you.

Personally, I think a lot of people actually try out the jungle cause they think it sounds fun. They then however run into those vitriolic players who rage and flame the jungler when something goes wrong and the experience causes them to return to playing a standard laner. (I mean that's part of the reason I haven't tried to jungle). I don't play jungle though so what do I know? [sg-lulu]

No it's because the role depends on it's teammates to succeed and depending on your teammates in low elo sucks.

There is plenty of resources from 3rd parties online to teach you the basics of jungling.

Jungle was very popular in S6 and the start of S7 in low elo. It's not popular now because it's complete dogshit role that laners use a scapegoat.
