Suggestion: Make Melee-Range Abilities and Autos Apply Damage Immediately

My suggestion is to make melee-range spells and autos apply damage as soon as you use them, instead of after/during the animation. This would prevent the flashing / dashing / etc. and still dying problem. I personally don't see the downside or any potential issues, please inform me if there are, this is just a quick fix I thought of to a problem.

Hard to do. This is a result of the game not refreshing a hitbox while mid-flash so for one or two frames the hitbox remains in place and can still deal damage to the champion. The big problem with what you are asking is that skillshots will apply damage as soon as they are cast and therefore un-dodgeable....
