"I'm buying GA don't fight"

(Annie flash ults the support) "An ally has been slain" "Enemy quadra kill" Well, that was an interesting end to a 57 minute game.

That's one of the weird things I've noticed about this game. If, say, a Thresh misses his hook, someone else is gonna try to hard engage even though your team's at a disadvantage because the hook is on cd. If someone leaves to buy, someone else will force an entirely unnecessary fight. When the enemy team is taking an structure, the team stands around until the thing falls, then hard engages. And to be completely honest, I sometimes fall into this too. League does weird things to your decision-making, apparently. Any psychology major here care to explain?

Pay attention to where team members are and don't just group mid and stay in enemy range for no reason. If it's 4v5, there's no reason to bait the enemy initiator to kill your whole team. Unless there is some immediate objective to be controlled, it is far more logical for that player to go back and get GA than dick around mid.

The reason people often stick around fights after someone dies instantly or when a turret is lost is the "sunk cost fallacy." You feel you've invested resources already and don't want to have a chance to salvage the situation rather than just cut losses.
