I just saw a Teemo draw aggro by accident, get CCd in it for a solid 4 seconds, and not even lose a third of his health.

I just saw a Vayne eat a full Thresh combo under tower, only to do more damage in a couple autos than the tower had done to her.

Both of these happened in laning phase.

Turrets doing nothing actually removes gameplay from champs that are good at baiting dives and then turning them around (ie nearly every utility character and support).

I saw a suggestion that towers should ignore a percentage of champion base armor, which seems pretty reasonable.

Videos or never happen. I know we like to embellish our tower stories, but a Vayne eating a full thresh combo is already enough to half health her. I doubt she took more than 2 tower shots after that.

I dont know what you're talking about. Tower still do a lot of damage if you dont have armor built

It used to be fun to stun someone under turret to make them perish as a result of their own stupidity.

It still happens...just not as often. Squishy champs can tank two or three turret hits early game and still be okay.

It's understandable for no one to die to turret aggro if it's 3+ champions diving one guy, because players used to have to go in and out tag team style to trick the turret into switching targets so no one on the team would die. That's an outplay.

But landing all your CC on the enemy carry under turret only for them to score a double on you and your ADC is just plain bullshit.

League now has a replay system. In order to verify the above story, let's see the replay.

No excuses such as "my computer is trash", "I don't know how to record, upload a replay" will be accepted.

All false-sounding stories are considered bullshit until a replay proves them otherwise.

I will agree that turrets are a joke, but I do not believe your scenario as you described it, but I would love to be proven wrong, so get to it, OP.

Instead, have them ignore ALL base armor, that way you actually have to be a legitimate tank to block tower hits and you need to cooperate as a team to pull off a dive.

Replay or never happened, failure to post replay just means you are either WAY overexaggerating or just flat making it up. Nice upvote farm though.

Both your examples are squishies getting cought in CC and not takeing much damage, so would you suggest turrets ignoreing % armor(which they already do btw)? Ignoreing %armor mostly hurts champs that are ment to have good armor and thus are ment to be good at tanking turrets. A flat damage increase, flat arpen or speeding up the ramp up all would be better for punishing squishies properly if they get cought in towerrange.

Towers need more health, more range, more damage, faster attacks, and better targeting, im getting games now where champions are diving and dealing to much damage, killing near instantly and it happens so fast the tower doesnt even aggro to them.

I'm still of the opinion that towers should do true damage. You might think this sounds unreasonable, but it opens up a couple important avenues:

  1. They are easier to read during dives. If they were tuned correctly with this change, you'd ALWAYS know how much damage they would do, relative to your health.

  2. They will always be relevant against tanks, especially as they ramp up. Tanks could still tank them for prolonged periods of time due to their higher health pools, but couldn't tank them forever as their defenses get bypassed.

Yeaaaah... turrets are not doing much of anything... if they did true damage per turret shot then all this would be fixed. no need to give turrets more HP, just give it more damage so Nasus doesn't die to Jayce every two minutes after he gives fb
