New point system for upgrading items before game.
Man, just got a crazy idea on how to maximize champion output with personal variation with items. add a new mastery/rune page style to toss points into for various items, for extra passives? example... toss 1 point into a dorans ring to add 1 extra mana per 5, to rabadons getting an extra 10 ap at top levels for specific items. think of the triforce having mastery passives like increased item effectiveness but a tiny bit. 3 points per item, 30 points per page. so the menu of this would be like Runes.Masteries.Shoppoints. OR even make this points temporary sorta... like you gain 5 points every game or something but you lose all the ones you used...getting people to prepare ahead of the game which items them want to use and buff. this way, you could possibly disable items on some champs without them being too bothered. this could ALSO be thrown into the game right now, for level 30s to "prestige almost". you'd start at level 1 for these items, and you get points as you play games? like a new level up system for those who dont want to smurf but want to get some extra useless stuff like ip and exp put to something else. like a % system that you chose to how the amount of each endgame reward you get. right now its you 100% ip, 100% xp. throw points in, you can shift the %s around to what you want specifically. 90% ip/xp, 120% item points.
i know what stats that champion is getting. Adding things that will add more power to items that are balanced around the stats they have is just going to screw with the clarity of the game since all of a sudden you have someone that has more stats than what they are supposed to have. It can and will make so many issues when it comes to anyone who plays against these enhanced items if they themselves do not it won't make the playing field even it's going to skew everything. These are things that don't add anything meaningful to the game other than "let's do this because why not?"
really need 20 extra movespeed. Does
need more attack speed. If they managed to balance it out in some way it could work maybe. I think an easier way to do this would be to add enchants/upgrades to a ton of items. In this system one enchant max (not including jungle enchants) should be the limit or else a champ could get too overloaded.
