As a Veigar main, build MR before complaining about the damage my ult deals.

And Blitz's Ult has the same base damage and AP ratio on a 30 second cooldown. The only difference is the enemy AP ratio (which, Veig is the anti-mage, that's his job) and the fact that Veig frequently ends games with 300-400 more AP than his items would normally give.

Yasuo was the most Anti-magest of the Anti-mages and got gutted to trash tier for months because of it.

Silences are not the same thing as oodles of damage. Silences are also not exclusively anti-mage: They're anti-everything. Anti-dash, anti-shield, anti-self-defense-of-any-kind.

Veig's just damage. Huge, telegraphed, short ranged, overwhelming damage. Even if he's got a Void Staff there's plenty you can do to deal with mere damage.

Yasuo was the most Anti-mage of the Anti-mages and he didn't even have a Silence.

Still got his base stats gutted to trash tier when all you needed to do to beat him was simply picking something melee rather than something ranged.

Yasuo wasn't anti-mage. Yasuo, at his height, was anti-everything. Quit your bitching. Build MR. Veigar has plenty of counterplay. Big telegraphed stun, and if he's just walking up to you...walk away. He can't teleport on top of your face and silence you like the three silence champs you've mentioned, and he can't dodge literally everything you throw at him like Yasuo. He just sits there and farms for 20 minutes, then when you're an idiot and buy nothing but AP, then stand there taunting him for some ungodly reason, he does the one thing he's designed to do.

Except he is literally one of the easiest champions other than Poppy and Twitch to bully early game. If you don't bully him don't cry when he's farmed 100 AP and on top of this you never even built some kind of MR. I mean build an item 3001 as a mage or a item 3102 (only rush item 3211 though) as AD and if you don't feel confident in your ability to dodge his wall build item 3111 . I'm sorry that you have to adapt your build for once in your life.

And by bully I don't mean shove him to tower. Make him regret each and every Q he tries to farm with without pushing the lane. Do it well enough and he may just end up pushing the wave naturally to either force him to consider ganks or be ready to burn most of his mana on a gank if not kill him.

That is literally the stupidest argument you could possibly come up with. 'Hes an anti-mage thats his job'. Ya no, its not 'his job' to have a blatantly overpowered ultimate that has no counterplay to speak of.

a well timed zhonyas takes care of that. Although it gives him always enough time to attack with q a second time. For ADC you just have to stay really far away from him!
