This was a ranked game. How do I get an UNRANKED PERSON and a BRONZE PLAYER on my team, and the other team has 2 PLATS??? This is not OK riot. As you probably guessed the unranked warwick fed like crazy and the plats carried. If I'm gonna get matched up against 2 plats at least don't put an unranked and a bronze player on my team. Their mmr was a whole 300 above ours, I can't believe the system thought "Oh hmm this game is going to be fair both teams will have an equal chance of winning." I get that our flex ranks were maybe around the same but the matchmaking system should at least take into account their ranked ranks so that more games like this don't happen.

I don't understand this. I've only had this problem ONE time (being silver and getting put against golds/plats) and I solo carried the fuck out of that game. But 99% of the games I check on OP.GG I'm in a game with all silvers, maybe 1-2 golds on a rare occasion. Sorry :/

the yasuo attracts plats hes currently in a game rn and hes against a plat just your teams mmr ig, when i five man with my friends i get plats in my games and altho rarely but get diamond 5s but alas it happens

I got placed with a challenger in flex while they have all plat 4-5 players on their team once.

Keep in mind flex mmr and ranked solo/dduo mmr (and normals mmr and so on) are all different, and op.gg and similar tend to only estimate solo/duo mmrs (and besides that are only estimates). It's very likely that if you compared flex ranks and more importantly flex mmrs, you'd find the match was pretty even.

Initial flex mmrs were seeded by peoples old dynamic queue mmr, so someones '"ranked ranks" (although flex is still ranked) were taken into account. Problem is a lot of people don't take flex seriously, so people do trolly stuff there and ruin their mmrs which may have started ok, plus even when things are working properly the mmr mixes that premades allows can make for a messy experience (and/or people playing legit and trying their best may get trolly teammates and it can overall be a slog to get to a proper mmr for ones skill).

Theres also curve balls because some people actually are better in an organised team than they are solo, and some people are better in the disorganised free for all that is solo but get destroyed against actual coordination, so someones 'true' flex rank may not actually be near their 'true' solo/duo rank.

Nobody is forcing you to play Flex.

Unranked + Bronze botlane, against Diamond + Gold. I know it was a normal, but someone should really wake up over there. :P
