I started an urf game and got alistar, i've never played him before so I was super bad, the jinx i was laning with was super toxic and kept on flaming me and asking why I didn't help her and stuff like that. I never once said anything toxic like "your shit" or anything like that.

The lower half was me kinda raging because the enemy amumu escaped with no health and other things like that and I understand that it's annoying it cant be considered as toxic. The top half was me replying to what the jinx had said. I don't see anything in there that could be considered toxic and wanted to put this here so that other people can have a read and tell me something I said that might have been toxic.

The sad part is that I didn't get a notification saying the jinx got punished yet she said: "go suck a dick" "your so fucking useless" "you must be retarded" and many other things.

One of my smurfs just hit honor 4. I got a horribly toxic duo who was flaming me for going Alistar jungle on twisted treeline. I had 100% of our kills when they began flaming with no deaths, completely solo, and they would not cease in harassing me. When I retaliated by pointing out their mistakes, they made personal attacks. The result is a 10 game chat restriction on that account, my honor 4 being lowered to 1, and the duo adding me to friendslist to taunt and berate me. Fortunately that account wasn't for rewards, or for honor perks but the fact riot did nothing to those players reminds me how funky their automated system is. I've found more success in fooling the system by playing on multiple accounts (6 different accts) so punishments rarely ever happen.

I don't think you should have been punished only based on this game, which you likely werent. The system also keeps track of previous mildly toxic games, and the toxicity stacked up to a point where you needed a slap on the wrist.

Tips:

  • Reports don't stack. Don't call for other to report someone, a single report is 100% as effective as 9 reports.
  • If someone is toxic, mute them. They won't stop being toxic because you responded. They're actually probably even more likely to continue being toxic.

No you don't. Flaming even in "self defense" is still flaming and against the rules. If a teacher sees two kids fighting on the playground and each one goes "he started it" "no he did" the teacher isn't going to let one kid off because the other one "started it".

Wait till the end of the game and report them.

If they bother you that much then use that mute option

Deserved. Can't say I would appreciate being called toxic, nor do I see how that's going to improve their behavior.

The continued negative communication with Jinx after muting them was probably the worst.
