Made an actual good post about an inter with hard proof and get down voted to oblivion. I guess the boards community defends inters.

Oh hi fallacy, it's been a whole 30 seconds!

Why does downvoting mean they defend a troll? Can people not dislike both trolls and your post? Maybe people are annoyed by how you feel there should be instant justice when reporting through a ticket. Despite the fact that probably over 100 tickets are submitted in an hour (low balling) with both trolls and simple rage reports mixed in. An exact algorithm doesn't exist for a machine to accurately do such yet and hiring enough staff to keep up would probably be too costly.

So downvoting a thread like this can mean a few things, and the meaning can vary by person.

  • It can mean that person approves of trolling/feeding.
  • It can mean that person disagrees with your conclusion that Riot supports trolling.
  • It can mean that person doesn't like the way you phrased your post.

From this particular post, my money would be on #2 and #3. The board in general hates intentional feeders, but they're also aware that Riot doesn't give feedback on the punishments others face, and they're aware (if not fond of) the fact that feeding is something that Riot is cautious about because it's easy for automated systems to catch a player having a bad game if the system isn't careful.

We also don't really know what the process for reporting through Player Support is. It may wait on a pile for review. It may take a while to process or confirm. It may get passed to another part of Riot. Saying they don't care or support inters is a bit of a spurious conclusion from the available evidence, especially when Riot does aggressively ban intentional feeders quite often.
