Please give tanks crit damage reduction items

You need to give tanks defense items that protect against crit damage. We need to be able to black at least 75 to 80% crit damage to even have a chance in hell of countering champs like yasuo. He's picked every game and it's been like that for a long time now. He's broken beyond repair. Not only should you give tanks items to counter champs like this, but yasuo should use mana instead of energy and his dash should be limited to 1 dash.

I can have twice the amount of armor as yasuo has in attack damage with a warmogs and he'll still 4 to 5 shot me with crit and life steal while dashing around forever so he cant be targeted. Even thornmail is completely ineffective. I have people threatening to report me for building ad alistar when the tank/support role was clearly called by someone else. If it's futile to build tanky against these broken champions and alistars ap to damage ratio is trash how else am I supposed to play him? You even removed clarity from the game which he needed.

This isn't even opinion. It's fact that yasuo and other champs are broken, but these players don't admit it because they only play broken champions out of fear of losing there lane. This account is level 22 and I've only seen 1 kennen, 1 mordakiaser, and 1 maokia. I've seen no gragas and 1 ali. I see the same champs over and over and over again. Repeats of the same matches with riven, yasuo, caitlyn, thresh, leona, ahri, zed, nasus, quinn, vayne, and annie. People are so afraid to tank due to the champs being unbalanced that I haven't seen tahm being played once besides me in 4 games. Your buffing the wrong champions because your listening to newer players. Even most of the level 30 ranked players are players who recently joined.

I am one of the original beta players when this was brand spanking new and I am here to tell you your turning league into a money funnel instead of something we can log onto to have fun. I'm at the point where I'm just ignoring everyone that I see even play certain champions because I already know they don't understand league and just exploit bad patches. If you gave tanks these items I ask for it would give the old champions a fighting chance. I don't mind losing which is why I play under powered champions, but riot is so hooked on selling skins that there willing to break and change the entire game to cater to score board droolers who don't even understand the game.

I remember when the game was newer people were crying on the forums that ad and ap ranged champs weren't strong enough when everything was balanced and they continued doing this for so many years riot listened to them because there moms and dads are giving them money to buy skins and newer champions. I know this was the reason for buffing ad and ap in one of the major patches years ago.

sorry to be so straight forward and your all welcome to flame me for speaking the truth, but it's all 100% fact. Mark my words. Your going to lose some of your player base if you keep this up.

item 3143 - 10% damage taken from Critical Strikes This actually stacks, but not additively. 6 will get you about 48% reduced damage from crits. So, I think if you REALLY** REALLY** really REALLY REALLY REALLY hate ADCs, this is your build. item 3047 item 3143 item 3143 item 3143 item 3143 item 3075

Although I do agree this game is QUITE saturated with damage, in some cases a bit excessively so. As it stands, when the tanks are winning, they also can basically assassinate ADCs while they're at it, which I think is the first problem that should be tackled with a tank update.

Tanks should really have their damage shifted to their more passive functions, and make them more threatening only when they're taking damage. That way when they dive the ADC, their CC is more of a problem than their damage, but when they're caught out against an ADC they aren't completely powerless. I'd prefer that taking a tank out be a bit of a team effort.

Yasuo problem with tanks is not crit but his stupid ult. For 8 sec you have reduced bonus armor by 50%.... so he doesn't need to buy armor pen items to hit like a truck. He instead can get another pure damage item and since the squishies will die to him wether he ults or not is mostly the tanks that have to dodge the CC, ironic isn't it.

item 3047 - Ninja Tabi blocks 12% of damage from Auto-Attacks, which does affect crits on AAs. item 3143 - Randiun's Omen reduces damage from criticals by 10%. The satisfying part is that the critical-reduction isn't unique, meaning you can stack them if you want. item 3075 - Thornmail reflects the critical strike AAs, meaning that unless they have high MR or Lifesteal, it's going to hurt them more than it hurts you.

These are just a few choices. Of course, Armor naturally reduces physical damage anyway, even if the enemy has a Last Whisper item.

but it's all 100% fact.

I think you need to work on your definition of fact. You have no supporting evidence whatsoever; just a ton of salt and bitterness because tanks don't get to smash Yasuo for free. I rarely play the guy, but it's clear from what you're saying about him that you don't understand his kit or play pattern.

His winrate is 51.5%; if you want to talk about clearly broken, talk about Karthus' 57% winrate. The fact that he's consistently beating you doesn't mean that he's broken--it means that you haven't learned how to play against him yet. There's no way you can tell me that you do either because you think he uses energy. The fact that you're even trying to build AD Alistar tells me you have no idea what you're talking about; he has no AD scaling whatsoever outside of his ult and extremely low base damage levels on his skills. Tank top may be the meta right now, but this is certainly not the right application.

If the only supporting evidence you have to support the belief that tanks are UP is that Yasuo smashes you and everybody else is a noob, you need a new argument. You also need to read the patch notes more closely (or at all) if you belief that buffs and nerfs come in to sell skins. That's incredibly naive.

alistars ap to damage ratio is trash how else am I supposed to play him?

What?!

Alistar + item 3089 item 3135 item 3001 item 3111 item 3174 item 3025 Have you ever seen an AP Alistar before? Have you ever been a champ, like say, Ashe or Varus , while an AP Alistar was roaming around? Let me tell you, it is not fun for those two adc's at all. AP Ali's W+E combo practically (if not literally) one-shots them. It's even worse if the Alistar decides to buy item 3100 instead of item 3025 .

But, with that out of the way, I do agree with your point that tanks needs some type of itemization compensation to make up for the fact that they aren't even truly tanky anymore. "Oh, what's that? They have tanky af Nasus? It's cool. I'll just purchase BoTRK and Mortal Reminder along with maybe a Frozen Mallet. He won't know what hit em." There are so many items now for adc's, that the tanks meant to be in their face soaking up all their damage are being slaughtered in a matter of seconds. Why even have a "Tank" class, if they can't even do what their role implies they'd be doing?

And, lastly, Yasuo is pretty balanced, imho. I mean, I dislike the champ almost as much as I despise Lee Sin and Riven, but I don't think he's OP or anything. I just don't like playing against him. Can I play against him? Yes. Can I beat him? Yes. But do I want to play against him? No, not really. If we're talking "broken/OP" here, we SHOULD be talking about Brand . He's oppressive af right now.

I never played him, but I was told from a friend I queue with that Yasuo naturally has double the crit chance that he gets from his items. So if he buys an item that gives him 10% crit chance he has 20% from it.

This was taken from another comment you made to someone else, and it just invalidates everything you said in the article. You can't talk about a champion being too strong or too weak until you have played them and actually understand their kit. I used to think Yasuo was too strong (when I was new back in early season 5) but now I realize that he's so easy to just crush if you play around his wind wall and play champions with any level of mobility/poke. He's not broken, it's tough to hear but he isn't.

So After seeing how you all reacted to me posting about this obvious issue I came to a conclusion. This community has gone downhill and even just mentioning certain champs that are regularly played who abuse this issue angers certain people. You don't have to hve a guilty conscience over a video game. It's just a game. I see now that I struck a nerve in many of you.

A lot of you obviously see it the same way as me, but won't admit it because that would mean you're not experienced enough to play certain champions yet and rely on this loop hole to win games. Sorry I upset you all speaking the truth. This was a good little test and I guess the Alpha and Beta players must have moved on to other games.

You should all try to relax and try to do something out of the so called "meta" and you'll realize you can diversify with champions and items. There's not some set item build or set position for every champion. When you get good enough at league you eventually realize that.

Don't get mad at me because I pointed out a bug and was able to get good enough to think outside of the box.

I've been seeing people say item 3143 needs an update anyways

Alytrox6/2/2016, 3:58:58 PM1 votes

Buff randuin and give -20% crit dmg. Remove the 15% AS debuff. Done.

Fusarix6/2/2016, 4:27:19 PM1 votes

Randuins crit reduction doesnt stack??........ There already is an item that does this. Why does this forum post exist

LadyRenly6/2/2016, 6:01:23 PM1 votes

Playing a champ like Mundo, I've never had a problem stacking a couple of randuins.
