Players abusing the reporting system

There's something that needs to be brought to the riot staffs attention.

You have countless amounts of false reports going in. People are using everything they can to grief players accounts with these bogus reports. I play these matches where someone wants to be a certain champion no matter where they lane so they pick them. Now other players start calling them names and not helping them in game because they claim they instalocked. They proceed to try and coax the enemy team to join in on the report to white knight them when this isn't even a reportable offense to begin with.

You also have situations where players will have a bad start and you can clearly see there trying, but getting caught out of position and what not. There getting reported for feeding and verbally abused by there other teammates. I don't know if you are taking my reports into consideration, but I have been reporting people for attempting to abuse the reporting system to defend these players that are just trying to enjoy the game. These players verbally abusing the obvious victims of trolling are not getting what they deserve. Some players believe since they last hit enough kills and run from fights that those who die for the good of the team are feeding or deserve some kind of punishment when they themselves are infact the troll.

I see players spamming insults for no reason and afking and I still treat them with respect and bite the bullet for them if they get caught out of position. I have people thanking me in games for being respectful and nice and reporting the people that are sending in false reports on them. I feel like I'm the batman of league sometimes trying to bring justice to the true griefers, but I would like some kind of confirmation that this issue is being dealt with.

I played this game since it came out so I know the game extremely well even though I'm only level 14. I realize that at my level I'm playing with people who are newer to the game and they follow this same trend of griefing people while trying to turn riot against those they harass in game because this is how it was years ago as well. I'm hoping that reporting them for griefing and abusing the reporting system will get them at least temp bans so they can learn to respect other players.

Us league vets have to show the newer players how teammates are supposed to treat each other. I've seen toxic players change there attitude mid game just by me being respectful and warning them that I will report if they don't stop being negative and disrespectful. I don't like to report people and don't sit in the stat screen too long. I feel like it's too easy to misinform riot about honest respectful players who are actually the victims of griefing.

  1. Multiple reports don't do anything.
  2. False reports don't do anything.
  3. If the person was trying, those reports for feeding don't do anything either.
  4. The reports on the players harassing people do something.
  5. You've played the game since it came out and are only lvl 14? Did you take a break or just not play often?

But class reports get thrown out. This is why they take their time with reports for trolling or basically everything else than toxic chat (since the evidence is apparent) when people lie in report (like not getting their role and trying to abuse the system by reporting them) riot obviously see that it's false since they know the person roles plus they see post/pre game chat.
