I find it unfair that we still have dodge timers

Hear me out, this week I got into a que draft pick where a player took someone else's role because their champ was banned or something, no one both players were fighting in champ select to the point where we had 2 ppl just going on in mid like normally you'd see this in blind pick, like why would anyone wanna play that match normal or ranked but then again would u rather serve a game where two players already have bad blood and are dogging it out with eachother or would u rather wait 5 mins? Obviously wait 5 mins but imo there shouldn't be five minutes even though that's the most logical option to take in this scenario,

Sorry but I just don't get the point of dodge timers I want a change to it, anything like making the timer 1min ten go up 5 and so on but the least we can do in champ select hostages is serve the 5 mins/15mins for others sucks but what else can we do
