In terms of design or asthetic or character
For me I want to see another dragon champion we already have shyvana who is technically a wyvern and asol who is a Chinese eastern like dragon, but I’d like to see a pure dragon a normal western dragon, I just want another playable dragon lmao, also more champs based on the vastayan tree would be nice
The same champions I always wish to see.
Noxian Drill Sergeant, preferably having his design based off a Roman Legionnaire. Who just yells at his allies to buff them. I want Riot to channel the fury of every healer saddled with a bad team into this guy. “What kind of idiot just stands in enemy fire!?!” “Wow, you killed a guy. Good for you doing your damn job! Want a medal, Snowflake?” That kind of thing.
Demacian Knight. I’m talking full plate with either a horse and lance or on foot with a pollax. Hell, both would be great. If Riot wants to be original with the concept of a knight find a way to also control the knight’s squire could lead to interesting mechanics.
Demacian Pikeman. I want a simple soldier, with a strong view of how Demacia is from the lower class perspective. I’m picturing a weird area control tank kind of guy who’s long weapon is the area he controls. Also thinking a cockney or Yorkshire accent.
Noxian Old Hag. Go full Baba Yaga on this lady. If you can get away with having her ultimate be her getting into a house running on giant chicken legs all the better. But here’s the thing, I think it would be awesome if she was the nicest sweetest Noxian ever. Demonstrating how true strength can come from helping others find their dignity. I also want her to call all other Noxian champs “chilluns” and chide them on their bad behavior.
Longsword champion that can actually use a longsword. I’m hoping they get as deep (or deeper) into the actions used in a longsword as they got with Fiora’s rapier and Yasuo’s katana. Despite the frankly numerous zweihander wielding champions we have, none of them seem to know what they’re doing. Garen spins like a top, Tryndamere bashes his like a sledgehammer, Aatrox jumps around and does dance moves in the air. I want something focused on stances and strikes performed in those stances.
A troll. Preferably a plague troll that took the diseases of his tribe upon himself and was then cast out by these same ingrates. But I’m really willing for anything. More trolls would be great.
WE NEED A BLESSED ISLES CHAMPION. Someone who survived/fled the Ruination and will give us a feel for what the people of the Blessed Isles were like before it became what it is now. Some sort of mage, monk, or priestess would be cool — someone who’s enlightened and has unlocked the secrets of eternal life.
I want another Darkin champ i really like there lore and a new one would be cool because in the lore and some of the voice lines in game Rhaast says that there are 5 darkin and only 3 have been revealed, Aatrox, Rhaast, and Varus. Another reason why I think they should do this is because the Darkin lore is pretty incomplete and we still have a lot of missing information on them.
I'd love to see another Darkin. With a new type of weapon. A brad new Shadow Isles champ would be cool too.
As a Noxian enthusiast I'd like a Noxian champion that actually adds something significant to Noxus. Since Kled, even if he is a really well made champion and beautiful in every aspect possible, even if he is probably one of the best design beauties in league, he is a joke champion that added nothing to the Noxus that was waiting for a hero since Draven. At least we got the Swain rework last year though! A heavily Black Rose related champion would the best because all of their champions are outdated and not getting a rework anytime soon, them being still a complete mystery helps a lot too. We'll see what will get uncovered with Mordekaiser, maybe he can shed some light to the Rose.
Getting a new enchanter support and a new assassin this year, possibly more as well, but those are the 2 confirmed new champions as of now. Reav3 confirmed that there is a non-humanoid champion in development, so perhaps we will see them this year. We just got a Vastaya(Neeko) a few months ago, so hopefully we don't see another one for a while. I believe it was also said that there will be no new Ionian champions or reworks of Ionian champions this year, so there's also that. Bandle City is getting come love, so that might bring a new Yordle.
Am I missing anything?
1 - 4 armed character with some kind of kind. don't care what it is, so long as it has 4 arms and that aspect is somehow worked into his gameplay.
2 - elephant champ. Personally I'd like to see it as an Ascended, trying to get a bit away from the heavy Egyptian influence, but not to the point where it would be unrecognizable.
3 - guy with hook swords. Love those weapons and the things you can do with them could almost make an entire kit on it's own.
I have a fierce need for an old lady hag/witch champion.
Yes, I'd love another dragon, preferably one that actually plays like a dragon, unlike Shyvana or Aurelion. A skeletal/zombie dragon from the Shadow Isles that belches out rolling clouds of necrotic miasma would be pretty awesome. I'd also like to see some new races of Runeterra, maybe a reptilian race from the jungles of Kumungu.

The Ruined King as a mobile fast-attacking skirmisher/melee carry, with a design distinguishing itself from the other Shadow Isles royal (Mordekaiser) by being a more regal and lightly-armoured design, a great king who has degraded into something worse, something akin to Gwyn, Lord of Cinder from the first Dark Souls.

Needs to be a skirmisher because:
A. Blade of the Ruined King HAS TO be core on him.
B. There is currently no Shadow Isles skirmisher.
C. Skirmisher is still the most under-represented role in the game.
A Yordle for the love of god please
Ledros, the undead from the recent short story " The Echoes Left Behind", seemed like a very interesting character, both in lore and design. Just imagine the possibilities that a zombie-like warrior with a shield and a blue flamed sword can offer. At least I think he could be a nice champion in the future.
Another Darkin would be cool.
We have an ADC, a Top laner and a Jungler (at least when the person playing Kayn chooses Rhaast). Now all we're missing is a mid laner and a support to complete the team.
I'd like more monster champions, no partial humans. Just straight beasts, so far we only really get them from the void but i'd be cool to see one from another region. I like the monster champions because they always surprise me. I look at Rek'sai's trailer and the only thing I can guarantee is that she can burrow, but i never expected her to be able to shooting freaking SAND TOR%%%%ES.
In terms of design a sort of stealth tank would be cool to see. And another character that excels at cancelling movement.
