What champs are special to u?

Ao Dracona·1/17/2019, 2:48:10 AM·19 votes·15,966 views

This includes champions that you first mained, first m7, champs that you stuck with no matter what meta or no matter how good they are, anything that you have special or hold dear with that champ here are mine

  1. Warwick - he was my first bought champion in this game, he taught me how to jungle, he was my VERY first main back when I played in pre season 8 that's when I started playing, I still enjoy this champion even when I lose with him something about being a hungry blood thirsty predator really peaked my interest in this game and I will love this game forever no matter how unbalanced it is

  2. Shen - Shen holds a very special place in my heart as I have mained/played him for over a year now and I am very surprised on how he stuck with me throughout my journey of league and just like Warwick made me love this game, Shen's play style and purpose in the rift really matched my play style as a protector of his teammates. He may not be a flashy assasin ninja like zed or alkali but in my eyes he is the best ninja in the whole game plus his lore is cool too

  3. Bard - Now this one OOOOOOH boy I had many good times with, I've done so many shit with bard, he started making the support role more fun for me and the kickstarter to my support career in league I can't really describe how he holds special to me but he does

Akali

i don't know who i would ban without her,i'd feel empty

Morgana First main ever. And she still is one of my main. Can't wait for her rework!

Lux First M7. First 100K. She's the champ that made get to gold for the first time!

Syndra My absolute favorite character. I love her gameplay, her lore, her quotes, her design (even if her outfit could be better)... Most people know that I could talk about her for hours

Chembaron Yamada1/17/2019, 3:52:21 AM4 votes

Jinx She was the reason I started playing this game. A friend told me about it, then showed me her and said "You would love her" and he was totally right. Of course, she was my first main.

Urgot Current main, I was extremely excited when his update was released. I love chemical and steampunk thematics, so it was just perfect for me. Will probably stick to him as my main for eternity, as long as they don't release an even better Zaunite.

Karthus I genuinly love that he views life as a curse and death as freedom. He's not evil he's just really misguided. In life he viewed nothing but suffering and misery growing up so he sees undeath as the perfect state of existance. (also his quotes are amazing, kudo's to whoever did them, that shit's deep)

Mordekaiser His lore is really good too. He's got the whole sauron/lich king aesthetic going on and he's pure evil. The very first undead, needing literally thousands of people to kill him in life because he just murdered entire armies by himself. Also ingame nobody knows wtf he does so he's my go to pick against assassins.

SMain1/17/2019, 10:03:04 AM4 votes

Syndra My favorite champion, and my only main, her lore and everything in her is unique! I never get bored of playing her! Camille Camille is a lot of fun to play, her lore is good and her design is just... Beautiful!

nelogis1/17/2019, 7:55:27 AM3 votes

Thresh I don't know why but this guy was the first champ I ever really played.... not as a support no, as a top laner on the 3 v 3 map. I had no idea what I was doing it just sounded busted as fuck to be able to hook enemies under your OWN turret! Looking back, I was pretty much an idiot

Tryndamere My first ever real main, I spammed him every game (still on the 3 v 3 map). He was also the champion I felt comfortable with switching to SR after I realized 3 v 3 is a meme for most people. Also I clutched a 1 v 4 quad with this guy on Dominion that I will never forget and my first Pentakill was thanks to him.

Vladimir This was my second main up until his rework. I loved his sutain and lane bully potential, his innate tankiness and absurd burst. Most of the time I managed to 2 v 1 the jungler when he tried to gank me just because of the huge AOE capabilities Vlad used to have. I also managed to pull off a 1 v 5 Pentakill with this guy!

Gangplank Once Vlad was reworked I had no idea what the hell to do. I'm a one trick and I don't like playing multiple champs, I tried Graves top for a long time, Draven and then Vel'Koz but neither of them really sticked. But then GP got reworked and oh man. I spammed this guy so much I got 800K mastery points in half a season. I don't know what it is with GP but this guy never gets old for me. No matter what happens, he could be in the deepest gutter imaginable and I would still play the shit out of him. I love his absolute massive AOE damage with his global Ult and his very unique way of kiting people. The barrel minigame with the multiple combos (there is nothing more satisfying than hitting a tough one-part im tellin ya). I also like lategame scaling champions so he checks out on that front too.

I'm going to put it this way, if GP was to be removed from the game I would propably stop playing alltogether.

Tristana - My name is inspired by her :D I originally picked her up in 2014 to expand my ADC champion pool, and then never looked back. In hindsight makes me laugh when people think current Trist can be broken, because makes me think they probably didn't see Pre-Rework Trist, and how busted she really was back then. Over the years I've seen her ups and downs, and above all, I still enjoy playing her to this day. I love her go-lucky positive attitude, I love her design, and even if Riot hates her, I'll always love her.

Lux - My OG Main :D I reached Lv 30 playing little more than just Lux, and she'll forever hold a special place in my heart. I think she's one of the better balanced mages, with lots of range but an actual need for mana management. She's useless without her rotation and good positioning is imperative. I've found she's mostly fun to play in every meta, and turns out she counters Zoe SO HARD it's not even funny. If I feel like I wanna wind down, I can always pop a Lux game and have fun with her.

Xayah - New ADC I enjoy playing Xayah almost as much as I enjoyed 2014 Trist back in the day. She also reminds me of myself... if I was pretty... and cool... and confident... and actually she doesn't remind me of myself, but I wish I was more like her. Sweetheart Xayah is my favorite skin in the entire game. Change my mind.

COUPLE OTHERS

Karthus Kennen - All Purpose Fun These two are what I often go to for a very different style of play. I play them both Mid and Bot whenever the situation calls for it, and they're so much fun in very different ways. I've been playing Karthus way before Dark Harvest was a thing, and it's just because I think he has the coolest Ult. Diving into a fight knowing you'll go down but then pressing that R is one of the best feeling in League. Kennen is my favorite Yordle boy. His play style is super unique and I just love getting a nice flank and destroying 3 people with the ult. Playing a fed Kennen feels rude AF.

Nocturne - Thx Vedius... I liked Noct before, and I think Eternum is one of the coolest skins in the game. But then this happened: https://youtu.be/Etf4vpGphLo

Zoe - Most fun by the end of 2018 I really didn't enjoy last year. ADC was murdered blah blah you know the story and details. One day I got Zoe in ARAM for a free rotation. Must have been September or October because it was post nerfs. Turns out she's a lot of fun, and she's so fucking overloaded. Comboing R+Q is just so much fun, and feels rewarding to land it after a successful Sleepy Bubble. Her W is up there as one of the most busted skills in all the game. Free summoner spells plus a free Ahri E?? She needs work, but even in her nerfed state, she was the most fun I had at the end of 2018 with the game.

mrmeddyman1/17/2019, 9:24:15 AM3 votes

Bard Bard is so fun. Breaks down the support role and offers a totally different experience that no other support can match Swain Played old Swain for the first time a month before VGU and noped so hard never played him again. Tried the new Swain post-VGU and he just clicked. Such a satisfying kit. Xerath Pretty much learned League on this champ. How to land skillshots, play safe, manage minion waves and freeze. This champ is the perfect tutorial champ Ashe/Garen be damned Nunu - Old Nunu thought me how to cheese. Going Full Ap in the top lane and completely annihilating the enemy with Full AP E poke was fun

BoringLittleF1/17/2019, 2:28:42 PM3 votes

Kayle was the first champ I felt comfortable with when I only started playing and the first champ that let me have my first kill streak. Also, cool design and badass voice. I hope they keep the same VA because Kayle won't be the same without this dignified and measured tone.

Vayne the most badass champion for me and the champ I really WANTED to main and spent my first 6300 RP at. Was a painful experience, but I still enjoyed playing her too much to stop.

Urgot play League long enough and his grim sense of humor and view of the world will start resonating within you. Not like it's a bad thing. Not at all.

Kaisa her calm attitude, her pride with her skill that doesn't turn into a typical smugness or arrogance, her mature and genuinely welcoming personality were a breath of fresh air to me. Also like her design and movements, she is superfun to play.

Irelia of Navori1/17/2019, 2:34:28 PM3 votes

Shyvana First champ I loved to play, since I was new to mobas and I had no idea what "metas" are, I just picked the champs that I thought are "cool", Shyv here is basically the first champ I loved playing, and that's mostly because of the dragon form LMAO

XinZhao My first "official" main, basically I discovered Xin Zhao by getting owned by a Yasuo, and back then, I thought Yasuo's name was "Xin Zhao", idk how I made that bad of a mistake but eh XD. I was disappointed when I bought Xin since I found out I mixed up champ's names, but decided to give him atleast a try, and oh man, I LOVED his playstyle, especially when his W was free AS and lifesteal instead of a 2 strike skillshot. I basically played him in ALL roles and remember foolishly trying to be mid and jg at the same time :D.

Yasuo I sucked at Yas, and tbh, I still kinda do, but the reason why he's here because he's the first ever champ that I REALLY had fun with, the dashes, the ult, the tornado, just awesome.

Katarina Talon x Katarina brought her to my attention hehe ;D. Basically taught me how to do fast combos and some rookie "jukes", fun times XD. Since I mentioned him, as for Talone, he's a pretty fun champ, but, I just don't really like the fact that his kit is pretty straight forward, I mean after you blast your abilities, if you someone mess up your almost guaranteed to die. Unlike Xin, whose got that nice life steal. But still Talone was fun, but not that memorable.

Lux Ah Luxxie, my first M7, and the very first champion I started spamming over and over again. She the first ever champ for me to one-trick and she's the reason why I'm good at auto-weaving, landing skillshots, and kiting (yes, kiting). I really gotta give this champ credit for being the one of, if not the biggest reason why I'm good at League now, she is the champ that accompanied me during my journey to becoming a good League of Legends player. She also was the reason why I dumped my other games and concentrated at getting good at League, and got me interested in lore. Thanks, Luxxie

Fiora As much as I loved Lux I got fed up having to deal with people like Talon/Katarina/Leblanc who could literally just jump on me and pop me like a balloon, and those "hard to kill" champs like Garen/Darius. I had to find atleast an alternative. I know I could just pick my old main Xin, but people started pointing out that Xin isn't supposed to lane. I asked my friends for help and they slapped me with Fiora. I started playing her mid whenever I see a champ that I don't wanna face as Lux, but eventually moved to top and that's when I truly enjoyed playing her. I learned A LOT from playing this champ too, and most of my first outplays were with madame Fiora. Merci Beacoup, dame au fromage!

Nasus First Penta, 800 stacks, that's all, he's a dog too.

Heimerdinger Indeed, a wise choice! I didn't main him, but before I discovered Irelia, I had the most outplays with him. No ganks allowed here!

Irelia AND now, saving the BEST of the BEST for last, Xan Irelia <3. I LOVE this champ, and for more reasons than one. I started playing her around mid s7, when I was scrolling through the store, trying to find who's a reasonable purchase, when Irelia's splash art caught my eye. I literally just stared at her for 5 minutes, trying to remember if I had seen her be played before, I literally didn't remember somebody named "Irelia" exist in the game, although her name felt familiar. I checked out her kit and decided to give her a try. I loved it. She is the first and only champ whom I get multiple Pentakills on in one game . I did love her kit, and was quite hyped to play her due to the pentas, yet I, for some reason, started to slide back to Lux, and from then on it was 50% Lux, 30% Fiora, and 20% Irelia. Then my League of Legends activity started to decrease, until I eventually stopped playing the game altogether...

UNTIL, Irelia's rework came. While scrolling down on YT one day I came across a vid with "IRELIA REWORK" in the title. Out of curiosity I hauled myself to the PC, did some google-ing and found that Newrelia was gonna be released 2 days from then. So I decided to try out League once more, while waiting excitedly for Newrelia. 2 days have gone by and there she was, on the loading screen, GORGEOUS af, standing in an elegant but powerful pose, with beautiful music playing in the background. I just stared at and observed her for a few minutes, just letting the music and the "feeling" sink in. It was a very special moment right there, I was goin through a ton of troubles at that time, and doing that made me forget about my situation and feel really good again (Until now, whenever I am in need of some sanity, I just search "Irelia Login Screen" on YouTube or just play her theme on the piano and enjoy myself, well done composer!). A few feel-good minutes later, I logged in, and decided to give Newrelia a try. I used the practice tool first to get a grip about her new kit. I quickly noticed that she was harder to play now, yet despite that, I really wanted to learn her again. The first few games were rough, of course, but 20-30 games later I got the gist of her playstyle. More Irelia games later, the fun I had playing her just kept increasing, I never got bored of her, so I decided to one-trick her, and that's by far the BEST decision I've ever made in League. Mah gurrrl, I played in EVERY ROLE in the game, even support (only a bit), and I somehow find myself doing GOOD at her whatever role it might be (I eventually settled in top and mid). She's also the champ whom I experimented on the MOST, trying out different builds, playstyles etc. which gave way to more strategies. Her outplay potential, her q resets, her w, I just can't describe how much I love her rework. She just has so much potential, the potential that I've always been looking for in a champ.

Aside from gameplay, her lore is AMAZING. I have never looked up to and got inspired by a fictional character ever in my life till I read Irelia's lore. Everything about it, the sacrifices, the sorrow, the determination, the defiance, her unbreakable will despite what she had to go through, etc., is just too good for me. I never expected that a League of Legends Champion would be one of my greatest inspirations.

I know, I have already written a ton of things about Irelia here. But trust me, those are only A FRACTION of what I could tell you about her. I'm not Irelia-obsessed here or anything (come on...) but this champ really just had so much to offer me, both ingame and personally. She is truly special to me, I genuinely LOVE her <3

In no particular order:

1: AurelionSol As someone who loves just the theme of dragons (Even though Longs aren't really my thing) Aurelion Sol is what drew me into the game. A Colossal Magical Star-Forging Space Dragon? Sign me up!

2:Shyvana Shyvana caught my interest at the start of my playing days, back when you had that limited choices.... and back then I did some pretty dumb builds. Seriously, I think I tried building Zhonyas on her once. But like I said, the draconic theme, the simple, yet effective gameplay drew me to her like a moth to flame. Ive loved her ever since.

3:Bard Ah, Brad, dear old Brad. I have never once not had fun playing this guy, even if I'm 0/7 its a blast to play him! Just everything he does just feels like a LOL moment. Q an enemy through a minion wave? lol. Dive through a portal to escape an enemy? Q and lol. Ult your ally for no damn reason other than you wanted to? lol!

4:Nasus With the new jungle dog being a thing now, I've had lotsa fun with this boy! The meme comes to mind: What kind of Minion is this? Weak I even got to out duel an Illaoi inside her Ult! And she had an anivia helping her! XD

Monstermushmush1/17/2019, 7:08:02 AM2 votes

Not in order, but...

  1. MasterYi My first penta! He was super cheap so I bought him. He's pretty easy to play and I loved to delete people. 2.Ekko IMO the best kit in the game. He's so satisfying. Just an amazing kit and so fun. 3.Teemo The champ I used to learn the game. I used to build him on-hit without even knowing I was doing that.

Ekko is by far my favorite.

d4rkshock1/17/2019, 3:15:00 AM2 votes

Shyvana she is the first champion i learned the game with and how i learned how to jungle. I wish riot would make her a viable toplane again instead of a counterpick be since thats how i got started

Ryze - another one of my classic champions but the reworkes him. I willgo back and play him for fun. Im hust not sure what ti do early except farm. Before he was reworked 100 times and his abilites were point and click, i was starting out and my friend told me to pick him.

Talon he's always been my staple for mid. He's zed but easier. I played him before the assasin rework but i wasnt in this game to play him when assasins had silences. Same happened toLeblanc Kassadin.

Evelynn ive also have always had fun running around as an invusable succubus deleting people. I also played her before the rework. Anyone remwmbered when her optima build wasitem 1402 item 3047 item 3742 item 3065 item 3068 item 3075. Of curse i also did ap eve. The reworked sher so ap actually works on her and she can delete people.

Bent Pixels1/17/2019, 4:00:52 AM2 votes

Shyvana My first main. Helped me learn how to play the game ultimately. I used to 2v1 her in the toplane because I was too scared to jungle lmao. Also my first M7 champ and first 100k master points champs

Zoe Everyone hates on her, but she is one of my favorite champions in the game. Her personality in game and in her lore is just awesome in my opinion. She's just always in a good mood and I love her relationship with Aurelion Sol. Also, I like making the other team rage lol

Ekko My man. Ekko is my most played champ ever. About 500 games with him and he carried me through bronze last season. Made my first season (S8) a good one to start off with. And I hope to take him to gold and beyond this season

Nami Lastly, Nami is my best support and I will always play her whenever I get the support role. Taught me the game hella well and made me understand how difficult botlane can be sometimes (I no longer flame my botlane when they do bad, since I understand how tough it is now). I love nami and probably always will

Dr Dog1/17/2019, 3:00:38 AM2 votes

Jinx my first main champion and first m7, still one of my favorite champions just not gameplay-wise

Fizz first high priced champion i got and got my first ever skin on him, got him m7 last season just for sentimental reasons

Hecarim my second skin i ever got and the champion i first played consistantly in ranked, got me out of bronze with a 80% winrate

RyzeTheSmurfMage1/17/2019, 8:41:16 AM2 votes

1.Ryze Favourite champ, first champ ever played. Love his lore 2. Xerath First main ever. His lore is also amazing 3. Azir again, I love his lore. SHURIMA INTESIFIES

Lulu my first m7. love everything about her Nami i got her urf skin from a reroll and decided to play her more Soraka out healing damage and ulting just before team mates die is fun Rakan i saw other people playing him and he looked fun so... i played him

Emo Twink1/17/2019, 1:27:59 PM2 votes

Zoe Came out after I dropped out of uni and was feeling horrible, really helped me get excited for something. She's exactly the sorta thing i wanted in league (super cute, can be really creative, hi range burst mage). And I got my results of getting into nursing uni with her figure release, it felt amazing..

Taric Post rework, but my friends used him to bait me into playing the game with how s*xy his new design is.

Lux First main, also like above, SG skin was used to convince me to play too.

Janna I made a lot of friends in her mains discord :D

Saelon1/17/2019, 3:47:01 PM2 votes

Karma First champion I ever bought and fell in love with. Loved her original design a lot and her unique abilities which sadly neither carried over to her new iteration. Though I still say she's my favorite champion by far and my most played, I still very much miss her old design.

Morgana Morgana was my first champion I mained in ranked. Even though I don't play ranked much at all and just stick to normals, she will always have a place in my heart back in the days where I just spammed her.

Jimmy Rustles1/17/2019, 5:39:32 PM2 votes

Sion my most played Champions and has been for a few seasons now

Poppy she's so adorable it should be illegal, plus fun to play cuz super tanky for being tiny

Skarner because he reminds me of me, nobody loves him and everyone forgets he exists

Relia Fortune1/17/2019, 5:44:57 PM2 votes

Akali prerework. First game I ever played with her on aram I got a Quadra kill. I thought she was a cool champion so I decided to buy her. Then one game on summoners rift, she became my first champion to get a penta kill with. I was so excited when it happened. The rework really killed her for me, but Akali will always be one of my favorites.

Irelia the only fighter I can really play. I enjoyed playing her when I first started. She was just a total blast to play. After seeing her rework video I was excited to see more skill expression shown in her kit. But they made her way too strong in terms of her kit. In the right hands she is a monster but for inexperienced people she can be somewhat tricky to play well on.

Lux was the first champion I ever played. She was just simple in terms of learning how to play her. I started out playing support and Lux was the champion I supported with. She was my second champion to reach mastery 7.

MissFortune my absolute favorite champion. Her attractive looks made me decide to try her out and play her. After a couple games I fell in love with her. Double up and bullet time easily becoming my favorite abilities in game. No matter how much I play her I never get sick of her. I have heavily one tricked her on ranked matches for three straight seasons now. If she wasn’t in this game, I probably would have quit by now.

FullmuteAll play1/18/2019, 12:26:32 AM2 votes

Sadly, I don't have such

First main Azir I really enjoy his lore, his emote part, and idea of abilities in general. Unfortunately, after his Q rework he became unplayable for me.

First m7 JarvanIV sup. I really liked how this guy bullied the lane and transfered to engage-support-tank. To my disappointment several factors killed him almost instantly:

  1. item 3309 was one of his strongest item for me: He could save his adc during all-ins. He could save other allies in poor positions shielding them and bringing himself in front to take all damage ally could suffer. He could engage pretty safe using W shield anditem 3309 . Now W is not enough.
  2. Tanks in general became weaker. I can only remember how I was running away from enemies spamming laugh. Now I can just hope I won't be oneshot/cced to death.

Current main for low elo Brand It just happened so that I like mages, and don't like assassins. Mid is full of assassins and regardless winning or not, they have much easier time roaming to other lanes and getting fed there. So I really don't have much luck playing as mid. In the same time I like aggressive/playmaking supporting. However so far I have a really poor experience relying on my teammates, they basically miss opportunities/kills I could provide them, so I am just tired of relying on team. Hence the only solution is Brand . Agressive mage support with relatively low reliance on teammates. However, it is not something I truly enjoy, I'd rather play Bard Thresh Rakan, but as I said, I am really annoyed by teammates who are missinng out on opportunities I provide them with.

Anns1/18/2019, 12:16:52 PM2 votes

Elise Leblanc Lissandra Nidalee Zyra these are the champions I totally am in love with, both lorewise and gameplaywise Diana one of the most beautiful concepts out there. Wish I didn't int with her tho

Sexy Jack Rabbit1/18/2019, 12:27:17 PM2 votes

Taliyah My favorite champion design and kitwise. She's so beautiful and she makes me love the way I look.

Ilovemobas1/17/2019, 11:18:33 PM1 votes

Garen Well what can i say. He is inexpensive, powerful and forgiving. I had a lot of fun with this champ when i was new to the game and sometimes i still do though people tend to get better at playing against him in hogher ELOs. Vi This awesome powerful one punch woman also has a special place in my heart. The first 6300 champion i bought and i dont regret it. I saw a youtube video of recommended beginner jungler and vi was recommended due to her powerful pve and point and click stun ultimate. And she is a lot of fun :) You won’t escape jinx I will get you. Veigar Oh boy this champion is soo powerful. I primarily played him as a mid laner instead of Annie when i was new to the game. His powerful AP abilities and his permanent scalling are really strong qualities. His E ability is much harder to play around then many people account for and even if you fall behind in terms of damage as Veigar the sheer ammount of CC is enough to completely turn a teamfight in your favour. Nautilus Is my support of choice. I love hook skillshots and tanky champions. Blitzcrank used to be my main due to his fun lethal grab. However i got to play as nautilus during a champion rotation and boy i knew right there this would be a main of mine for sure. I love the fact that you can stun automatically with your basic attacks and I tend to do really well with him as support because no one expects him especially not down there. Blitzcrank players give this man a chance you wont regret it :) Jhin Adc is not my prefered role by any means. However this champion is amazing from his personality to his fantastic long range snipe abilities and hidden traps. I never grow bored of him. That amazing ultimate of his is so cool: the calm music is so awesome and ironic as i am in fact about to murder my enemies. But to jhin Killing is beauty :D

The Death Roe1/17/2019, 8:34:32 PM1 votes

Gnar My very first m7, highest lane winrate champ and I just love everything about him

Galio Started playing him after his update and I cannot be tilted playing him, his dialogue alone puts me in good mood, plus being a giant bruiser is a bonus.

Jax Lore wise Jax is my favorite, his cocky behavior, but underlying heart of gold is really what I hold dear in my heart. Playing him got me my first wins in clash!

fƒ151/18/2019, 12:24:48 AM1 votes

Lulu Zyra My first mains, I had a lot of fun with them on aram and building whatever ap items on SR TahmKench I remember when this guy was released, I really loved his lore and his mechanics. Still one of my favorite supports and champions. Thresh I have the most games on this guy. He's really fun to play, although I hate to play vs him. Heimerdinger I really loved his first splash arts. When I see his old splash art, I'm reminded of the old SR map times and how magical it felt to play the game. I don't know, the first summoners rift has a special place in my heart though.

Rito Zac1/18/2019, 7:46:32 PM1 votes

Zac - My first main all the way back from Season 3, a few months after his release. It's been a rough road, especially during the tank reworks during Midseason, but I still haven't given up playing Zac. Even the lore I adore, although I'm not very fond that they gutted his parents. Regardless I still love him.

zepdrix1/18/2019, 5:41:18 AM1 votes

Volibear got me out of Bronze. Elise got me out of Silver. Kassadin (Almost) got me out of Gold. Hoping it will happen this season. :D

Over the years I've gotten much better at orb-walking, so two hyper carries that will always hold a place in my heart are Kayle and Varus .

Ahri Not even gonna lie, she was the reason i got into this game, and my very first main. Also my best champion ever even if I don't enjoy or play her as much as I used to. Always will have a special place in my heart.

Akali Old Akali was the champion I put the most time into to learn and the only one I went as far as to watch videos and guides to get good at her. The champ I mained the longest. New Akali is kinda on the same boat despite being kinda shit/hated/permabanned.

Nami My second best champion. My support MAIN. The only champ I feel competent on and can play in any meta, even when she's hot trash.

Sona Another reason why I played this game and my first support. I dropped her for a while but she has a special place in my heart as well.

Kaisa This champion singlehandedly stopped me from quitting league last season. I have never anticipated a release as much as hers. At this time I was mad at the 6.22 Akali rework and her state at the time, to the point of dropping Akali. Kai'sa, in my head, was gonna be basically everything I loved about playing Akali. Hybrid, assassin playstyle, stealthy. And I was just spamming Xayah before that, so I was on an ADC hype. I was upset with the state of league and was gonna quit when I hit plat. (Similar to how Xayah's release stopped me from quitting after Gold) But then she hit pbe and you never saw me on live until Kai'sa made it there. I onetricked this champion so much that my year in review put my secondary role as ADC just because of her. I played her everywhere and tried every build. I've never been this attached to a new release until Akali's rework later that year.

AurelionSol : Just like someone else in these comments I was drawn by the draconic theme and as of now I have more mastery on him than anyone else.

Janna : My first and best support, before Janna I thought support would suck and I wouldn't get to make any plays. But boy was I wrong.

Nunu : I suck at him, but I love this character so much.

Gnar My first m5 champion. I'm not really into top but I liked him. Lux My first love/main. I don't think I will ever stop playing her. I love her character, lore, and everything about her. Also I used to feel so indentified as her... Leblanc Ahri I started liking and playing mid because of them. LeBlanc remembered me to the Masonry idk why, and it is something I'm passionate about. Kindred Their quotes are, to me, the best of this game. The concept is just amazing. Diana I have something special with her and her lore. But her gameplay just frustrates me so much. The hard matchups or the times I get camped and don't have an scape (I'm more exposed farming at melee range). Kaisa Sharing place with Lux... She is my actual main (I would say I main both) and I like her in every aspect too. Quinn Not sure if I should include her here but I just discovered her this week and didn't expect to like her so much. Soraka I love her and her character too.

WarwickI Oh man what can I say about best doggo? Everything about him is perfection and relatable to me in some way. His current kit is EVERYTHING I was looking for in a champion when I first started playing this game in 2013. Coming from mmorpgs as a Tank/OffTank player I just wanted to play a barbarian style with a lot of chase potential. I learned jungle playing the dog, having failed my first try as Blitzcrank jungle without items, before inevitably becoming a Lee OTP until I realized I suck. But what really gets me is the lore. The story of a man trying to do good, and make right by his past wrong doings but being unable to succeed is very relatable to who I am today. On some more coincidental relations, my nickname since middle school has been "Wolfy" (not a term of endearment, Im crazy hairy and had back hair in middle school). I love canines, but I have 12 dogs on my homestead so that's to be expected. Warwick in game, much like Lore is able to punish a lot of wrong doers and save a lot of innocent people, but he can't save them all. That's alright though, because he doesn't want to.

Ekko This is the first time I'll be honest as to why I wanted to play Ekko intially. He was a black champion with a "sword". In every game I play I typically stick with melee playstyles. In any game I can model my character after myself I do so (I am biracial). At the time your options for darker skinned champions were Lucian (adc) or Karma (mage) which I learned how to play but never were in sync with. When that Seconds trailer dropped, I told everyone that this champion was going to be my main regardless of how stupid his story ended up being. But much like with Warwick the lore of Ekko is highly relatable too. I grew up 15 minutes from Philadelphia and every opportunity I had was spent running through the streets of the city. I hung with bad kids who I shouldn't have been around. We got into mayhem, nothing serious because my friend group was well aware of the fate of dealers and junkies, much like Ekko's crew. We just had fun. And something me and the Chronolad have in common is losing a close friend, who we desperately tried to save but were unable to. Ekko has already decided to walk his path, but has yet to muster the courage to let his family know it. Being an old man now at 29, I've already faced that confrontation so when I read about his birthday I could FEEL his anxiety. Ekko and I both know that Time doesn't heal all wounds.

Jayce Oh Jayce, the hypercarry toplane/midlaner that carried me out of bronze right into Gold in season 4. The traditional "Handsome Good Guy" that everyone loved to hate on back when the boards were forums. I spent so much time watching people break down his combos on youtube back then. He taught me how to attack-move, how to land skillshots, and how to manage your mana pool. Jayce is the foundation of my gaming experience in League. I don't play him often these days, but when I lock him in it's like coming home. Even if they want to make you into a jerk in the lore, even if there are whackos supporting the "Glorious Evolution", I know you're the one fighting for a brighter tomorrow. P.s Screw Viktor

Honorable mentions: Garen first champ I ever played, LeeSin first champion I obsessed over Blitzcrankfirst champion I hardcore fed on MonkeyKing somehow have always played well on this guy and have all of his skins, mostly through mystery gift/chests.

I only play Ekko and Warwick in ranked these days. In fact I have alt accounts dedicated to each of them where I have all Ekko skins (on this and ekko only smurf and am 5/7 for Warwick skins on both (20k BE from Urfwick on this acct, 130k BE on other). That is how deep my obsession goes.

Jinx First champ i played, first champ i bought. Played almost only jinx at first. She just feels way too team reliant these days. and i've kinda burned out on botlane as i might aswell just be the support and solo the lane or go play in a solo lane.

Singed I tried to learn this champ 3 times and on the third time i figured out i could just lane with him instead of proxy. He's a ton of fun and surfer singed is the best skin in the game.

Leona She kinda just happened, one day she was suddenly my highest mastery after jinx. she's the most fun i've ever had jungling on a champ, sadly she can't really go anywhere but support without struggling these days.

Old Shen, Old Warwick, Old Soraka, Old Sejuani, Old Zac, Old Mordekaiser with WoA, Old Maokai (New one is fine though), Old Heimerdinger, and Old Xerath.

Almost every rework where they made the champion more complicated to play. The new Warwick Q is so inconsistent and I miss the point and click ult as well as his perma lifesteal. Probably the only rework I am 100% behind is New Nunu. It feels like the same champion except with more CC. The only weird part of his new kit is E but that is doable for me.

Jhin is the only reason why I play this game at all, solely because of his voice actor. I knew nothing about this game going into it, just the name of the champion I wanted to play. The other champions didn't really interest me at all at first. I just wanted Jhin. About 2 months or so of farming later I finally got him(would've gotten him in one month, more on that later). The first time I ever played Jhin was an experience, to say the very least. I don't even think there are words to describe that level of euphoria. It is a feeling I've never truly been able to replicate, with Jhin or any other champion. I played him as much as I possibly could, through ever broken phase and every nerf no matter what, growing and improving until I eventually got to mastery 7 and over 600k mastery points. This eventually lead me to join the Jhin mains club, which serves as a constant reminder of my own inferiority and inexperience. On a more personal level, Jhin speaks to my more artistic side, the side that goes unnoticed and unappreciated on a near constant basis. We are both vilified and made to feel like monsters for our audacity to create, granted in vastly different ways. I am a cartoonist that draws with a mouse rather than a tablet, something that is extremely frowned upon in the artistic community. Jhin and I both long to be understood and appreciated.

Ashe & Varus were some of the first champions I ever played on my road to getting Jhin, not because they were easy, but because they were ADCs. I picked these 2 specifically because they were both archers, using bows and arrows, so to me they felt similar and I could easily transition between the 2. Along with them, I also tried KogMaw, but due to his differences between Ashe and Varus, I couldn't quite get the hang of him.

Volibear was the first champion I ever "bought". Back when you could reroll champion shards, I had 3, only one of which I remember who it was(it was Nocturne, and I remember because he freaks me out). I rerolled them to see if I could get Jhin, but I got Voli instead.

Janna was my second mastery 7 and is currently the only support I can tolerate playing.

Twitch is extremely personal. I own rats, and the first one I ever got(Bubo) died last spring. I now only really play Twitch in honor of my rats.

Vi is the one of, if not the only female in League that I find attractive.

Azir this guy was my first m7 back in 2016.......

Refer A Friend 11/18/2019, 6:07:16 PM1 votes

Vayne First M7, first main, first (almost) 1M points on. I want to say I've stuck with her no matter what, but with how much damage everyone does I've reached only playing her a few times every now and then.

Thresh The one support that actually feels satisfying to do good with to me. Though not the support I mained first, he's the one I have the most time on. My usual champion to play if I want to go in bot lane at all.

Darius First ever successful 1v5. I really wish Riot had the replay system at the time. His lore is a bit lacking but those quotes are fun a lot of fun to listen to. Especially on Dunkmaster.

Pre rework Taric The first top lane champ I played for an extended amount of time. I still have fond memories of screwing over Nasus and Riven players after they tried to fight me. Still remember managing to win a fight against a Nasus at half health after he teleported and pressed R to fight.

Soraka my girl soraka was my first main. The good old days going crit soraka with old item 3031 were the best

Shaco was the first champ i played jungle

Anivia used to play her A LOT when i was still pretty new to the game

Teemo Teemo, because he was my first mastery 5 champ, and probably the first champion I could call my main marksman choice.

Sona Sona, because she was the first support I played as, she was my first mastery 7 champ, and I can for sure call her my main since I stayed in the support role the most often.

Jinx Jinx, because she was the first champion I saw and fell in love with, and the first one I saved up for. Also got my first penta with Jinx, so that was a good memory.

Kayn Kayn, I know I need to practice with him more, but I love the story with him and Rhaast is awesome.

Yorick Yorick, he is my go-to top laner now, and I love him so much (Shovel Knight Yorick skin please, lol). I need to play him more since I got mastery 6 with him and I love unleashing the goon squad with Maiden, such awesome moments when you hit R and say to yourself "it's go time", and just bop the shiznitz out of people.

Nocturne Nocturne, because he was the very first champion I played as when I got out of the tutorial. I remember taking him mid a couple times (since I didn't know anything about jungling and I knew how to work the build path better in a lane), I love his whole thematic of being THE nightmare fuel, I just hope they give him a Warwick style makeover and keep the ult relatively the same (though I'm not sure if they'd change him to be more of a diver or make him an assassin according to today's standards. We'll have to wait and see :) )

TwistedFate Graves Caitlyn Jinx

My precious boys and girls, my precious quartet. [sg-jinx] I've mained them, learned the game with them, learned to CS with them, destroyed many a bot lane and mid lane (except with you Jinx, kindly stay out of mid) with them, and of course, have right clicked many people with them and watched their health bars go down. [slayer-jinx-wink]

Illaoi - My first main, my first penta, and my first m5, a champ I really enjoyed playing, she will always hold a special place in my heart, even though I am incapable of playing her anymore.

Garen - My first and only one-trick, my first (And possibly last) m7, my first and only 100k, and my second penta, the first skin I ever got was Sanguine Garen, and my most prized skin is Warring kingdoms Garen, he is the only champion I really feel confident playing.

Kayn - I don't know why, but I've always loved this champion, even though I'm really bad at him.
