They are working on a global roar so all will know to run in fear when his pride is clearly to big to be an effective hunter.

Because it's not a new message. Nobody is "Alert"ed anymore, and has been moved to Status as per standard.

First off, people who are just now getting on after the weekend haven't gotten the alert, and are completely unaware that he is disabled until they get into a game. There are quite a few Rengar mains, and I'm positive that there are some that don't know he is disabled, and will have major issues in champion select.

Second, for all the people seeing that the alert is gone, they will probably assume that he has been re-enabled, since Riot doesn't really give in-client announcements about champions being being fixed. It should still display some very obvious indication OUTSIDE of champion select that he is still unable to be played atm.

This was exactly myself today. I had been checking every couple of hours, and as soon as I saw the announcement disappear I jumped into a ranked que only to find he wasn't able to be found on my champion list. The alert is there to let EVERYONE know that he is down, not just a couple of days of "oh they know now it'll be fine to remove it."
