and now it's becoming a challenge to get into a game where she isn't banned at least 1/3 times. Is there something I'm missing?
Right now she has a 25% ban rate. I'm almost certain that's a 24.9% increase from the last season. It's a bit ridiculous, is she really that powerful right now?

New-found? lol I feel like you're a bit late on the band wagon, but I do agree with you. Earlier in the year I Evans a Syndra main and didn't see any bans on her (at least in my ell at the time). After worldshPpened, I see her not being banned regularly, but a bit more than earlier in the year. Seeing what riot might change about her, I'll be open minded and enjoy her current and future stay in the game. :^)
Perhaps it is because she can miss all of her Qs, and literally every single one of her other basic abilities, but then she can flash and cast her point-and-click ult and completely delete you if you aren't a tank.
I have been wanting a change to her Q for a long time that makes it to where her ball doesn't stay if she doesn't hit anything with it, because I think it would help stop all these bad Syndras from still just getting free kills from her ult.
