So why don't we have a sandbox mode?

Why can't we

Simulate the mistakes or team fights we had in previous ranked games

Test certain builds without spending a lot of time trying to earn gold

Try to brush up on mechanics like orb walking, condemn~flash, wardhopping, etc without being limited to CDs?

Fool around with other friends maybe generate 10 barons at once to take aggro against 2k minions..

Or spawn an army of pantheons..just think about the amount of LoL videos that can be made on this

Make more intricate camera movements and effects?

Or amp up the movement speed on characters to move like sonic.

Why hasn't riot tapped in such a potentially life changing game mode?

ROFL "some players want to learn how to flash over walls with two minute intervals." I don't understand this logic. Why is it better to learn intricate mechanics by putting yourself in possibly situations where you have no chance to for 65% of your games?

Edit: I misread this

What? I don't understand what you're quoting.

some just want a space to practice flashing over walls without having to wait at least 3.6 minutes in between

I mean, we can all check it.

OK well I would just like to know what are the cons of making this mode probably the main way of practicing just pure mechanics rather than learning on SR?

If this level of mechanical skill becomes expected ("Why are you in ranked if you can't flash over walls? Go back to sandbox!"), it would raise the already astronomically high burden of entry that League has.

Well, as explained:

  1. It's a pain to do, and there are so many things that need fixing. Resources are better spent elsewhere.
  2. it stands to become a 'gate' where you have to sit and practice in Sandbox until you're "good enough" to play with others. This sounds nice but it's elitist and even more off-putting for new players. Why should I practice wall-flashing for hours when I can play another game entirely?

This and also

  1. Creating a sandbox mode means either getting a shit ton more servers (all of which are not cheap), for little to no benefit OR allowing your comp to download pretty much the games base code, interactions etc.

The latter would allow people to look into the code of the game and withing a couple weeks we would have crap tons of exploits, cheats that bypass their systems etc. causing massive problems.

TL; DR Too many resouces required, no need, very minimal benefit for the number of problems that arise
