there are many players who climbed up to challenger as main supports:

https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Don+Tito https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=1+Shady https://euw.op.gg/summoner/userName=Schuhbart https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=From+Iron https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Humble+Diligent

it's not about the role you choose but the way you play. your macro and micro game that is .

according to your opgg:

https://euw.op.gg/summoner/userName=Oyee+

you play too many supports focused on only three and work on your macro and micro game.watch some challenger support replays , streams , etc.

Honestly support is the most impactful lane. Maybe you are playing wrong champions. Soraka is pretty busted atm. Leona is great as well. I mean, you can carry with any lane and getting out of silver is easy. You just need to find a way to impact your games more than enemy can do it.

If you're good enough, you can carry (and climb) in all roles. However, Mid, Jungle, and Bot are all super impactful if you really want to make the switch.

Out of silver and below - Toplane, 100%. If you have 3 brain cells and just spam juggernauts you'll make it to low gold eventually. The meta for bronze and silver isn't assassins. It isn't ADCs. It's not mages. It is, always has been, and always will be, juggernauts, which are mostly played toplane. Better juggernaut wins, and the team with the most juggernauts will win most of the time (assuming there's no stupid off-lane shit).

Sure, if you're more skilled you'll be able to win on anything. However, juggernauts are by far the easiest role to win with in bronze and silver. Most ADCs don't know how to kite and most teams can't peel worth a shit, so juggernauts will, 9/10 times, just walk up to the ADC and murder their face in, then murder the rest of the team.

No promises that'll be the case once you're out of silver, but it should work out fine until you hit gold.

However, that's just if you want out of silver the easiest way. You can still very much carry as a support, so there's no need to switch lanes. That does require getting better at the game and working on your problem areas, though, which is a lot more work than just learning Mundo, Darius, and Nasus.

Jungle, as in any ELO.

However if you are crap it is also the best role to fall.

Ignore advice that does not let you play to your strengths. If your not positive what those are or think they need to be improved more, that should be your focus.

I made an account last season and grinded from Bronze1 to Gold4 in 50 Games with a list of champions I let the boards pick because people dismissed me from conversations with responses like "supports don't make any impact in low elo, its just coinflip luck to climb as a support. Got to play a carry and 1v9"

Games not made to be played 1v9, That's not how team games work ffs. Anyhow sup can impact entire matches done right. It is harder or easier depending on players. Your gonna want to find out what's best specifically for yourself.

Jungle or supp are your best options.stop taking ignite

I'm a JG Main but I've Mained Mid Lane to Hold the past 2 seasons because like the JG you're able to impact every lane via roams but now you're also able to control specifically how Mid Lane goes. Honestly idk how Mid Lane gets slept on so hard for how actually strong it is.

As support you can easily climb, just play permaroaming as if u were a second jungler

Top is underrated in these boards, if you can beat your enemy, you got MANY possibilities to carry. But you have to really beat the enemy, with the heralds you can destroy the lane.

You can climb in every role and almost any champion however the time it takes can be longer. You pretty much need pug stompers to climb in low elos. For example in Bronze/Silver support, play a support that can carry games and avoid ones that rely too heavily on the team(yuumi comes to mind).

solo lanes.

What has worked for me is find a reliable duo. They dont need to be be gods at the game or even carry you but at the very least you know they wont hard feed and on the off game they do they know how to bring it back. I also found one champion I am very good at and can win lane majority of games and just play that.

ProphetOfDraven2/4/2020, 2:53:30 AM1 votes

Top or Mid, Games always comes down to which fed carry can carry the hardest, and it's usually some long ranged mage in midlane like Lux or Zoe, one shotting everyone from fog of war, or a top lane bruiser just obliterating teamfights.

I would recommend playing a solo lane as they are the best for focusing on improving your game play. Top is (at least in NA) a much easier to get than Mid.

Just being particularly strong in your role makes a huge difference, especially if you can do so from a role that typically isn't very strong. Support is a great example. A lot of supports end up being heal bots, and spam healing allies that aren't dealing a whole lot of damage isn't going to amount to much. If instead you take a champion that can be powerful on a support's gold and exp budget, you're going to have a major impact on the game.

Personally, this is one thing I really enjoy about playing Pantheon as a support. Get two or three kills / assists on him, buy some Mobility Boots and a Serrated Dirk, hit level 6, and you're a global threat.

Similarly with Bard. Learn the pattern for when is the proper time to leave your carry bot so you can roam to collect chimes. This gives you great mobility, mana sustain, and supplemental experience. When you accumulate enough chimes you can deal about as much damage as your carry, and the mobility allows you to keep side lanes pushed and get back to your team for fights. Remember, that pushing minion waves basically work as an extra champion on your team. While you're fighting with your team over lane control or objectives, your minions will work their way to the enemy tower, or the enemy team needs to send someone to deal with them, giving your team the numbers advantage.

VonCesaw2/5/2020, 2:50:12 AM1 votes

Only way to climb is literally to take a champion that can take every objective while also being able to kill people If you aren't solo taking every tower and objective, it IS your fault you lost If you aren't helping to kill every laner in every lane (including jungle), you lost the game by not doing enough You need to be placing every ward available exactly when it's available. Of course that includes buying pinks. At least 300 gold worth per match. Who else would provide vision if not for you? Other laners? You're just shifting the blame, friend You need to be doing everything in the game all at once, solo. If you can't 1v5, it IS your fault you're losing. You disagree with any of this? Clearly you're just bad, and you don't get how the game works. Trust me, Riot has been telling us to tell each other this for years.
