If you wanna play a non meta champ...

Great! Do it! Have fun and all that, but understand that you have to put a little more effort into it if you wanna see the victory screen instead of blaming riot for not making the champ you chose super meta. Riot blaming has been a real trend in my recent games, and I'm not talking about an adc getting their first item spike kinda stuff. People going some super immobile champ and getting kited to death by their lane or pushing super hard and getting ganked. It's not Riot's fault you don't ward and lost a 2v1. Champ X isn't so op that you can't have a good game against them. It'd be like gangly boi me trying to play in the NFL and blaming them because I can't break a defensive line by myself...

Nah brah, Imma first pick Yasuo in ranked just 'cuz I got nothing better to do and I don' wanna try anymore.

The fact that people don't understand, or even try to understand, that every off-meta pick simply does NOT work in the games they wanna pick 'em into.

It annoys the fuck out of me. I don't care if it's stupidity, or indifference, or lack of game knowledge. You don't do that. If it's either of the former 2 reasons, you'll get reported, and I sure as hell wish you'll get punished for playing the jelly doo-doo in my match.

when i first started this game , my first champion was Aatrox and he was and is my main since then and i always play him no matter how badly they nerfed him i still played him and im winning games. Its like people just dont admit their mistakes sometimes when i play aatrox i get camped and died not because they camped because i dindt play safe enough...i will never become a meta slave and will always play whati want when i want :)

Thats said... Aatrox isn't a bad champ anymore. You know this moment where jungler gank to kill the Aatrox but... DOUBLE KILL.

Yeah, but riot did increase the average power of specifically the meta designs of the champions, which cause the divide in power to grow between off-meta and meta picks. The increases to scaling and skill interactivity has been where most of this occurred, even though there was almost no reason for it to happen. Now most of this is centered around AD (with many having equal or greater AD scaling on skills as AP now), but it absolutely has also occurred with AP and Defensive champions, after all, HP/Armor/MR scaling use to basically be non-existent, but now it's almost necessary to make a tank viable.

While it's fair to say that you should expect to input more effort for less output (basically half the reason people play off meta stuff), it's also fair to say that riot is at fault for causing off-meta picks to be unreasonably difficult to play. And that's before you even consider how many off-meta builds/styles riot has outright removed in the process of a champion's removal rework. Something else, that comes as a result of this observation, but tangential to the topic, is how off-meta picks are actually the only real way that champions are "difficult", because all of the mechanically complex champions are generally compensated with insane power as a reward for playing a "hard champion". Yet paradoxically, making a "hard champion" more powerful, makes that champion easier.

Oversimplification of the META is something I would like to see RITO become cognizant of. It's very frustrating to find the champions I want to play being forced further out of META.

If you wanna play a non-meta champ know that you're going to lose because as long as the meta-slave retard has 1% brain capacity you'll lose.

I play non-meta alot, seems to work okay.

I like Vi. I like Diana too, but can't play her as I don't have reaction to do anything when I get killed in ~0.25 sec. So I completely stopped playing squishy champions. This should be more strategy game than FPS.

Diana is actually very strong right now, but she's entirely gated behind a super-expensive item like Nashor's tooth, so it's just a question of getting out of lane alive.

The Meta to me is 1 top 1 mid 2 bot 1 jungle other than that i've never paid attention to meta and couldn't really tell you who is/ isn't meta right now champ wise.

I have been practicing Ryze apc botlane. I want to find a Tryndamere MasterYi Yasuo player to compensate for the lack of AD on the team so I can go to ranked with them.
