Honor system? What in the world.... Why??

I'm honestly perplexed why the new honor system doesn't show any stats while giving you the option to honor your teamates. Shouldn't it be like overwatch where you get acknowledgement for what you do so your team can see and rate you? For example: Most CS, Total heals/shields/blocked damage, Most assists...etc Instead all we get is to randomly pick a teamate? Alot of times supports do a lot of work for the team, but it goes unoticed because people pay more attention to someone glory hogging all the kills. Kinda wish there was a better way to get acknowledgement from your team for what you actually accomplished during the game you played with them. I can't tell you how many games I play where I hand the adc kills and everyone thanks HIM for his "hard work"

The options for honor are: Not Tilting/Chill, Teamwork, and Friendly.

Neither of those options have anything to do with stats. Sooo no reason for stats.

you just spent an entire game with these 4 people and you're telling me you gathered 0 data on how they act? You have to resort to randomly selecting a teammate?

Also, just as Guy Fox said, honoring has nothing to do with stats and everything to do with attitudes and perspectives.

You have to keep in mind that in League those stats are very "biased" for a lack of a better term I can't think of right now.

Some champions will naturally do more damage, tank more damage, get more assists, etc. just because they are that champion and for reasons nothing to do with the player.

If you are in such a game where you are at the point where you would have to pick a teammate randomly, you really shouldn't worry about it.

If this is a concern of yours, then wouldn't not showing stats be better then.
