Hope these Yasuo E changes don't go through

It will utterly dumpster him. One of the most unique champions getting dumpstered because of the vocal minority making a lotta noise.

Nerfing Yasuo's Q stack duration is debatable because there are champs who can hold for longer cough Annie cough but I understand the reasoning behind it.

But nerfing his E?! Man that hurts so fudging much. Any Yasuo player knows that his E is SUPER and I mean SUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER clunky at rank 1-3. Even at rank 4, it's not as fluid. It's the same with GP barrels. They feel super clunky till level 13. And Yasuo's E CD at rank 1 is 0.5 sec. Doubling it will just gut him. There are places to take tower from. Remove his Crit passive/Shorten his W duration or make it reduce the damage from projectiles by a certain amount/Reduce the Armpen of his ult (Even though it's really necessary at this point in the season).

Remember when Zed had to wait 1 second before switching? You had to buff it to 0.5 because it was clunky AF. Do not make the same mistake with Yasuo. You are nerfing him for being annoying and not unbalanced. Do not destroy a champ simply because people who have played next to no games with him think their opinions are valid.

It's very simple. If Yasuo wants to trade, he'll actually have to think about it now. No more getting your third Q stack, dashing through the enemy wave, getting a point blank Q and then dashing out again, and then repeating that until he gets 6 and goes for an all in and free kill. People will be able to retaliate now

As dim of a bulb as I am, this offers me plenty of clarity on the situation as well, forthwith I agree on. There's something about the potential ease of a facerolling Yas in top lane that turns me off.

I think this is meant more for mid lane Yasuo, you cutie pie. I'm pretty sure they want to prevent him from winning early trades by sliding through a wave, getting in a Q and a few autos, and then sliding back through the wave to the safety of his turret (because mid is a short lane).

That's actually precisely why I mention top. It's true that it's just as much of a problem in mid, but with the usual demanded build for people topping as him, the impact sometimes feels a bit more unnecessarily harsher. To each their own though I suppose. Think I'm just too use to countering him with Annie if I ever mid against him. The ease of low elo games~.

Regardless of what lane he's played in, his E shouldn't even exist as a spell to begin with, so I won't lose any sleep over it. Hopefully Riot learns a lesson from Yasuo but for some reason, I have a nagging feeling that they won't. Until then, "Yay, Tibbers!", you cutie.

You've played this game for 5 years and have 3 games total as Yasuo in ranked. You have no fcking idea how much thought goes into anything. You are prolly one of those people thinking "Ah Bjergsen penta with Zed. Noob champ". Play Yasuo 100 times and tell me again how easy laning phase is.

I don't have to play him. I can play against him and know just how obnoxious he is.

Lool. Do you think Yasuo is easy? Because from your first post, that's what you are insinuating. And if you do think he's easy, then your reply is void.

Not disagreeing with you, as I'm not a Yasuo player, but I feel the urge to argue against the clunkiness of a skill due to a rating. A great deal of champions will have at least one skill that suffers for a rank or two before suddenly becoming the best thing ever (Like Rank 2 for Annie's ult, Rank 2 for illaoi's ult, Vladimir's q at max rank, etc). It's intentionally designed that way to handicap the champion's rate of progress I'd imagine, otherwise they'll be tilting for another reason, and quite possibly in the worst of ways.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying they should make it less clunky. I'm saying it's already clunky at early ranks to begin with. Play a Yasuo and watch how slow his E is in lane. Now double it and imagine that. He can't trade. EVER. Want to trade with Darius? Nope. Can't get out in time. Jax? Nope. Kled? Better get used to the metal feel of his Q. People think the think that makes Yasuo Yasuo is his passive but nah. It's his Q. I play 0% Crit Yas and still shit on opponents. His E is what makes that possible.

I wanted to say something nice. I wanted to say something witty. But goddam. All I can say is Farking Hell what are you ON about!? Yasuo deserves those nerfs and more.

Your Yasuo experience?

I don't know. I haven't lost to a Yasuo in lane for quite some time. I really don't think he's overpowered and I know I'm in the minority, but I just don't think he's that bad. He's obnoxious, sure, but "overpowered"? Nah.

AninLegions7771 votes

I hardly lose to Yasuos. Pick Darius, Tahm, Shen, Malph, Kled, etc. He's so easy to counter. I don't know why they want to dumpster him.

You have idiots on these boards whining about yasuo and never having played him. Fucking Riot thinks it's a good idea to listen to them.

You should be happy Yasuo still exists in his current state. He honestly needs a rework, as no amount of nerfs (or buffs) are going to fix his problems.

AninLegions7771 votes

Irelia shouldn't be allowed to exist. Riven shouldn't be allowed to exist. Annie shouldn't be allowed to exist. Tryndamere shouldn't be allowed to exist. I could mention more champs with WAYYYYY more disgusting kits than Yasuo but go on and tell me how he has problems. Nerf his W. Nerf R armpen. Remove crit passive. GG everyone wins.

Elkington VI1 votes

Honestly, Annie is sort of a necessity in today's League of Mobility. She's one of the few champions that can guaranteed lock someone down. Personally, I feel she does too much damage for having such reliability, but her stun is a necessary evil for dealing with champs like Riven, Vayne, Yasuo, etc.

AninLegions7771 votes

Well Yasuo is a necessity vs. Mages and ranged champs that kite people to death.

Elkington VI1 votes

Not really. Pretty much any assassin has the potential to kill all mages. Most bruisers can deal with them as well, especially with item 3194

Yasuo's current kit brings more cons to the game than pros honestly.

Hige1 votes

I downvoted you for defending this broken champ but the changes to his E won't go through either way, they will be nerfing the duration of his whirlwind and probably will look to nerf him somewhere else too
