Is anyone else dissatisfied playing Leona currently?
I am a support player but recently I feel like I am not enjoying playing some supports lately. Specifically
. I have been playing since Leona's release and up until 6.14 I had enjoyed playing Leona and making plays. That patch kind of gutted Leona. All her abilites lost base damage and they added a really awkward basic attack amplifier to her ult. I just never feel like I am doing enough anymore and since I am not scaling attack speed very fast as a support, I just never notice my 'dps.' Leona's engages are never very prolonged and they really are trying too hard to put her in that category. She E's in and combos and most of the time the target either dies quickly, flashes, or disengages. I can't remember ever really feeling good about using her fancy Incandescence procs and it is usually more of a frustrating attempt to try to apply them than anything. Her Q stun duration was also reduced from 1.25 to 1 second and now the stun just feels so unnoticeable, especially against anyone with tenacity it is pretty small. How about some different lines of play for Leona other than E, ult and auto every game? Why should I be dealing damage by myself honestly. Riot reduced the Sunlight passive in the same patch meaning my team is now benefitting from my passive less, which doesn't make sense. I think it should be the other way around. Get rid of the Incadesence awkwardness and make the Sunlight passive a bigger deal. Maybe teammates would bother to activate the Sunlight passive more if it was more meaningful. Also the Sunlight procs could look so much better and visually appealing than the little flickers of light they are now. Finally, if Leona falls behind laning it is way too one-sided and painful to move forward proactively. How am I supposed to contribute to lanes if I am underleveled without shield, heal, etc? That is why I prefer her passive to have a bigger team impact. Not sure what they can do there but it can be looked at.
