TFT WTF IS GOING ON WITH ASSASINS

It says they jump to the furthest enemy but when I battle someone with assasins and place by tanks BEHIND my squishy units ASSASINS STILL JUMP AND IGNORE MY TANKS AND GO FOR MY SQUISHY UNITS WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

PLUS THEY KILL UNITS WITH 1 OR 2 BASIC ATTACKS THEY DONT EVEN NEED TO USE THEIR ABILITIES

Yeah their AI is extremely inconsistent. They are supposed to jump to the furthest away but now it seems like they are targeting the weakest.

If you know you are against assassins the next round and can plan for it, stick your tanks in the back but make sure there is space behind them. They do always jump the furthest back but if the line in front of the tanks moves forward and the tanks are already on the furthest back spot, the assassins have no choice but to jump between the tanks and squishies.

Meanwhile Glacial and Yordle comps are aids when allowed to exist.

They're cheap too.

Wild + Yordle + Sorcerer + Demon is also a Lock.

I've brought someone from 100 HP to 0 in 7 consecutive fights with it when we're the last two running, and the opponent has all the right items.

I think the strongest feature of TFT is that if you hold on to your gold, you make more of it. Keep at 10+ gold and you can basically get up to 8 members pretty fast AND roll more 3 Stars. Unless purchasing XP will result in a level, don't spend Gold.

Zephyr, Cursed Blade, and Locket are the three most OP items in the game, btw.

Idk, Rageblade + SoS on Ashe causes eternal aids for whoever deals with it. I managed to beat a hybrid Yordle comp (or was it glacial, cant tell the difference other than one stuns and one dodges, both annoying) by making Gnar an assassin and running a shapeshift wild assassin comp. Gave him a rageblade and this man would knock people around like pinballs.

I'm not saying a build is set in stone.

Many times you can't repeat the exact same team every time.

I've managed Yordle X 6 + Shapeshift X3 + Sorcerer in the same game. Gnar and Kennen are too compatible with multi strategies.

P.S. I've dominated the mentioned Ashe and she was T3. The worst abuser of SoS is Lulu, btw.

They kinda need to change what Yordle does, same with Glacial. I dont mind if they get a set % of dodging or stunning, but nothing like it is now, and give Glacials slows, and Yordles...health regen? Idk, as of making this comment I have no idea what to add for Yordles.

The problem is that your tanks move at the start of the round.

There's a slight delay before assassins jump to a target. It's really noticeable if you have your units far away - they'll jump behind your units in the spots they just vacated.

Beyond that, it seems the assassins are programmed to go after the weakest targets. It makes sense - assassins do that in league all the time - but it's something that just "feels off" in TFT.
