currently playing a game with 2 trolls and they are having a blast...
Meanwhile the rest 3 of us are miserably and cant surrender, GG riot games

GG game ended we lost, what a surprise. The trolls were adc ryze and suport irelia with ignite, seems they are a duo. They sure had fun all game and realy made friends with the enemy team thru chat.
Maybe we should all consider just trolling games picking crazy shit and just report anyone who gets mad for it, what matters is having fun right?

xD
Sorry that happened to you. I had a game last night where the enemy bot lane chose ADC Mundo and Support Nunu, which said support decided to intentionally run down the lane with his snowball and die constantly. Mundo tried to play a little better but I got my Jinx so darn fed that he just melted and we won the game.
No one likes to be on the team with trolls, and it's not really fair for the winners either. I know it's frustrating. When things like that happen, it's good to get up and go do something to calm down, then come back with a clear head and try to put that game behind you.
Still havnt explained how they trolled. At best it sounds more like gou did.
Tbh the setup they used pretty much screams "i am a troll and bait players so i can report them, bite me"
Not really, when i play PvP i generally like doing random shit instead of being super serious. Teemo, jhin, darius support and the like. Its quite fun.
Im still trying to get a hybridish non crit trist build to work. Atm ER > Nashors, though i think i might need to ER > Botrk > Nashors... Which kindo goes away from the burst into DPS style i wanna try and get working...
what you said you are trying out can actually work.... To some extend. What they did? Uh...... Not really?
I myself played alot of teemo-support games, so I know it works. I've seen Darius supports too. Seen Rengar-ADCs. Tresh-ADCs. but all of them had the abilities to work with this weird setup. The troll-duo? They have nothing beyond the trolling vibe.
Ryze ADC can work, assuming he does build AP. Manamune does well on him, however (Q procs muramana, and mana). Irelia support not so much, but with shield i can see her Q dashing to proc relic and engage.
According to Pika Fox, trolls are only the people unhappy with being trolled.
No it cant work.....he cant take towers, he cant kill tanks......that's what adcs do.
No it cant work.....he cant take towers, he cant kill tanks......that's what adcs do.
He can take towers decently, given how AP interacts with towers, and he can also kill tanks. Again, DPS > Tanks. ADCs have high DPS, thats why they kill tanks fast. Ryze is a DPS mage. He can fulfill similar jobs as an ADC. He may not be as efficient at them, but he does have the benefit of having better CC and utility.
you can say that about anyone, the ADCs are way better than ryze at bursting a tank and they don't need mana, they just auto attack, yes in low elo people don't realize auto attacks do matter, but pick an ADC and their autos are way stronger than ryze. Ryze is burst, he combos and then it's wait a bit......autos just keep hitting. If you want to play ryze, pick mid or top......not adc.

Yes, ryze is a "burst mage" whos "burst combo" lasts something like 6-8 spell casts and multiple seconds before he has to wait on a CD.
Hes a dps mage.
call it what you want, he relies on abilities not on autos......adc is for auto attackers, and yes that includes mf, and Lucian....because their autos still hurt even if the abilities are down. ryze's autos do nothing, sure he has low cooldowns, but he's still ability based.....
I mean this game is just like basket ball...….you don't want 5 7 footers in the game, just to break the meta or something stupid......every role has a place....you need a point guard, a shooting guard, a power forward, a small forward and a center......they have their own roles in the team. Same with league, they have a general meta for a reason. I don't care if you use S tier or D tier champs, but play champs that are supposed to be in that role....I don't play diana adc for a reason.....nor do I vlad adc or Leona adc…...

Except vlad has been a valid meta ADC, as has karthus and ziggs. Heimer ADC was both meta as well as won multiple worlds level games. There is one pro who has a near 100% winrate with it to this day on the big stage every time its not banned.
He was for a time being, but even last year when the whole thing was screwed up, you lose so much siege power by not having a ranged AD auto attacker. I'd rather see AD TF or jayce than ryze.

Ziggs can seige harder than any ADC can. Heimer is pretty damn up there on seiging as well.
Just looked up the game; irelia and ryze werent premade. Irelia is really the only iffy one, as she went smite support with jungle item. No idea why, dunno if confusion before game, new player (it is low-mid silver), or what.
Ryze built properly. No real signs he was trolling.
He went ryze bot, I just had one, it's trolling....learn your role or dodge

https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/8LiehiqX-curious-what-the-general-opinion-of-the-boards-is-on-this
I don't know if its a consequence of matchmaking/balance and how frustrating season 9 feels, but the amount of trolls and people who just dont care in ranked games is too dam high.
Going for niche strategies and builds is not trolling, nor is there anything wrong with it. There is a big difference between 2 players taking off-meta champs in the bot lane, and 2 players taking double smite and deliberately making sure their ally jungler never gets a jungle camp all game.
Sounds to me like they are just two friends who decided to try something different out. Their strategy was probably a bad one, but you and the rest of the team got the shits over a game and probably flamed them. The enemy team made friends with those "trolls" coz they noticed they weren't griefing like you were.
Edit: And yes, League of Legends is a game........the whole point is having fun.
what possible niche strategy ADC ryze can be? I'd understand victor, LB, even morgana...
But Ryze?
One lil question: If someone were to punch you with metal glove with spikes on it, would you call it a gentle slap, or admit that you can't find your teeth and bloodloss from broken nose makes you dizzy? I mean, there's a limit one can take. And from my POV you simply haven't experienced it yourself, or you simply don't give a damn anyways.
You dont "try" things in ranked game which is the competitive queue where you are supposed to do your best and put every chance of winning on your side .
You go try your weird build and troll stuff in normals where no LP can be stolen from your teammates for your selfishness .
Ranked games should be treated way more seriously . People play this queue to climb and try hard . It is not the place to "try" things or "try" a new champ lawl .

Actually, it's better to try things in ranked, especially if you think your on to something that may win you games. The skill level in normals is so low and you cannot use it to properly assess whether something is good or not.
I used to play a lot of norms with new champions before I took them into ranked. And every single time, after I reach the point where I do well consistently in normals, I'd take them into rank only to feed my ass off. I don't bother training champs in normals anymore. You learn bad habits and get punished hard when you take them into a competitive environment. I'd rather learn my limits from the get go.
The only time I really take champs into normals anymore, is new releases and it's just a couple games to learn their kit. Ranked after that. You learn effectively when people punish your mistakes which they almost never do in normals.
I am not sure if you are aware but most new players doing okay in their placements will get silver 2 or 3 on average .
so basically the level of a silver 5 ranked game is lower than any normal games with normal MMR . At your elo you could win games running janna mid crit build .
If and when you reach an elo where players are actually playing with their hands around D4 ( and I'm being generous because even this elo feels like you're just surrounded by faceless bonobos half the time ) , trying new things will just get you stomped on and reported because at this elo , playing anything but your best champions is considered trolling and should be .

They all eventually fall to B5 where they belong. It happened to me first time I played ranked back in season 5. Started Silver or somewhere about and fell right down.

I'm a legit Silver player and I can tell you it's most definitely not true. The skill level of a normals game for me is far lower than Silver. Shit I could get away with in normals won't work in Silver. Normals is B5 level skill for me. I expect in generally people's normals MMR will be at least a tier lower than their actual skill. So for someone in say, Plat, their normals MMR would be around Gold or Silver. There's no point experimenting with shit vs players below your skill level, they won't reveal the weaknesses in whatever it is your doing.
The only way to make this viable would be to push your normals MMR close to your actual skill but then we have no real sensible way to keep track of it. How would we know when the MMR has reached your skill? And even if it is, people generally don't play as hard in normals. They play to relax and try troll builds and what not.
In case anyone is interested in a third-party opinion, I looked up the game in his match history, and here is how it appears to me:
3:00 The OP dies to
, giving the enemy first blood. He may have come into the game already tilted and wasn't playing well. Maybe he was spending too much time raging at his non-meta teammates instead of playing, but that's just a guess.
4:30 His "troll"
support nets his team its first kill against the enemy
.
Looks like his top lane
got ganked early by the enemy jungle
.
Top appears to be losing pretty hard after this.
Somehow the OP dies to
, but his bot lane
manage to kill
and shutdown
in that fight or shortly afterward, so it's worth it.
Suddenly
is on a killing spree, his
finally ganks a lane, and his team is winning with a decent gold lead.
The enemy meta bot lane is losing pretty hard to the OP's "troll" bot lane for quite a while...
...And then the surrender vote becomes available. Almost like clockwork, the game goes back into the enemy team's favor, likely because the OP is demanding a surrender and forcing a team debate rather than playing, though he already had poor fight participation according to the score timeline. At some point, the OP AFKs in the game to come to the boards and make this thread, which could explain any number of long periods where he has 0 fight participation recorded.
Finally, the game ends in defeat. OP returns to the boards to declare that he was right and his "troll" teammates cost him HIS rightful victory and wrongfully wasted HIS time... I am guessing at some parts of this based on the limited information available, but that's how I imagine this scenario playing out based on what I can see and my personal experience with people like the OP.
AFKing, trying to force surrenders, and blaming teammates are all far worse than playing something off-meta. Also the biggest factor in that defeat appears to be the enemy
was kicking ass almost 24/7, which actually began up in top lane. So credit for the OP's loss is actually due to the enemy
who hard carried his team.

I had a feeling something like this is how things actually played out.
Not suprised. People will find the the first off meta thing and blame it for the loss instead of actually doing any reflection.
Sad I can’t upvote this more, so that OP’s post goes down.

Thanks for looking it up. I was about to because OP's story seemed really lame, especially if he came in part way through his game to post on the forums. Who does that?
So what wrong did they do? So far you say they went off-meta and didn't surrender but there isn't anything wrong with that.
Why are you posting while in game..
Right so how is this RIot's fault?
Because apparently 3/5 isn't a majority rules vote despite the vote being 60:40.
People have complained for years that the surrender vote be changed so that you won't get games where 2 players refuse to surrender just to drag the game out.
The same can also be applied to the early surrender vote. 4/5 isn't a majority, but somehow 2:2 renders a remake when one person doesn't connect.
Because they need atleast 4 votes to register an ff, and if one of the duo troll won't vote yes. Then the rest of the team will have to be forced to go through that shit.
Yeah 4 votes. You know why? Because 3 people not wanting to play means they can just FF. There's a specific reason in the wiki that explains why you need 4 people to ff.
I'm not the one complaining, you're asking how is this riot's fault exactly. Well based on this post, I told you how supposedly at fault riot is according to OP. Don't get butthurt on me pls.
Im not butthurt. This system just isn't riot's fault.

Right so how is this RIot's fault?
Because instead of giving little love tap punishments Riot needs to grow the fuck up and start giving out real punishments.
Remember that Trolls only derive power from your negative emotions. I typically advise just pushing a lane hard and never speaking. Never lose faith that the enemy is either just as dumb, or will get arrogant.
Super minions win games.
I personally would like if there wasn't a penalty for leaving a game.( I never afk'd or left an unfinished game)
However, I would like if you did leave, you'd be replaced by a bot.
Just had a game where we had an Ahri bot lane and a Nautilus with 5
s
