While Dragons are important for late game power, Rift Herald is important for the early mid game snowballing. Tower plating destruction is important, especially for first tower bonuses, plating gold, and general split pushing and shove.
Discuss with me please? Is Rift Herald just as important as Dragon?
"Can be" is a very poor substitute for "is".
The first herald can be very valuable.. not only to snowball but to make a comeback..
if one of your lanes gets a n iolittle behind early.. a herald and plates can get them caught up decently, and if you get full tower, gives that lane roaming capability..
it is pretty powerful at the 8-10 minute mark..anything after that and dragon outshines it in every way.. because non plated towers just die too easy...after my 3rd completed item, I can usually take towers down without a minion wave to back me up, just walk up and face tank it and auto it down before it can kill me.
