If thresh didn't have a cast time on his q, would it be easier to dodge?

(I see a lot of thresh rants without really giving a good suggestion on how to fix it so i'm giving it a shot) Alot of the thresh rants i see revolve around Thresh's q having a cast animation that makes you gamble whether you juke left, juke right, or don't juke at all. Kinda like rock paper scissors Thresh 1... Vayne 1... Thresh 2... Vayne 2... Thresh 3... Vayne 3... Thresh SHOOT HOOK LEFT Vayne TUMBLE LEFT Vayne DAMNIT!

One of the solutions given was to have thresh's body face the direction he's throwing. i'm not exactly sure but i think it already does that Another was to have his q have an outline of where it will go, like jinx's zap though i feel like that's a little too much Also another suggestion was to reduce the cast time but i dont see that helping But i havn't seen any suggestion of removing the cast time altogether. Kind of like blitzcrank hook but blitzcrank is more devastating when hit with hook

It doesn't. Thresh can face one way and throw his hook in a completely different one if he wants to. Most of the time this wont be the case because Thresh will often be trying to catch up with someone and will be throwing the hook in the direction he is trying to go, but, there is nothing stopping you from throwing a hook behind you while you run.

I actually do that ll teh time. Run towards the turret and throw a hook behind me to get the enemy adc under turret. By the time they see the windup animation is already too late. If they were to add an outline like jinx thou they will have to make the hitbox wider which will only create more problems. Just make thresh facelock into the direction the hook will go
