Fiora or other top laners

Hey all, I've been thinking about getting copra for a few weeks now and haven't done it because I'm not sure she is worth the ip. I've read that she is a strong duelist especially late game, which I like in a champion... although nearly everyone has said she brings no utility to a team which makes her a bad pick in the top lane. so I am just looking for some opinions on whether I should use ip on her or if there is some similar champions to fiora but with meaningful team contribution other than damage and maybe her ult heal. I know Jax is good too but he's just not my style. all help is appreciated.

Don't get FIora. Riven is better, if you similar playstyle - AD caster that can carry. Fiora was too good vs tanks with her ult, so they had to nerf her, now she is too squishy and loses most lanes, while being useless in teamfights. You basically have to rely on getting fed.

Fiora is really good if you know how to play her, if you don't you will most certainly feed. Her passive which gives you true damage is really good for against the tanks that go top. Her q gives her constant mobility and helps you kite. Her W can block every ability in the game if you time it right. Parrying someones ignite is so funny. Her e gives her sudden burst with the second crit and attacks speed which is used for trading in lane. And her ult provides a heal for your entire team if you are able to kill the target or hit the marks. That and it gives extra damage where the marks are placed. She is really fun in my opinion due to the fact that you can block and stun enemies with their own abilities. Try her out if you have the IP or if shes on rotation! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Basically she's a really strong solo-carry champion, but she needs a team built around her.

I'd say Riven is the champion you're looking for when it comes to damage, solo-carry, and utility. I don't recommend her if you're looking to start climbing fast, however. She has a really high skill-cap that's pretty much required to do well with her. It's mainly focused on auto-attack animation canceling, but also just basic game knowledge. I personally don't have the patience to learn all that.

Yasuo also falls into this category of great all around, but really difficult. Gangplank as well.

My best recommendation is Trundle. He has a lot of solo-carrying potential with a lot of utility and he's super fucking braindead easy to play. He has weaknesses when it comes to being kited, but there's almost no one who can 1v1 duel him AND be as effective as he is in team-fights. His Pillar, Ultimate, and Q all are good for diving as well as peeling. He's very versatile and easy to pick up.

Riven has 2 CC and an execute, all her abilities are AOE... Fiora is good in a 1v1 and that's it. I don't think that she is rewarding to master. You can be ahead and still lose the game, because your team needs a frontline or more disruption. Riven is semi-tanky with the big shield + does more in teamfights.
