Could we possibly be able to see our champion mastery in champ select someday?

I know this is something me and a couple of my friends that I play with have talked about but I was curious to see what others thought. There have been times that I will go into normals and have no idea what I want to play so I try to remember what champs I need to level up or were working on but don't remember what level they were. I mean sure you can check before you go into game and I have but then somebody picks that champ or the role you are gonna play and forget who else I have to work on lol. So I was wondering if anybody else has wanted that and if it could be something to happen in the near future.
