So when will supports get the next big overhaul?

I know this will probably only stike a few people that are kind of in the same boat as me being mostly a support main. Every year it seems that all these champions around the rift are getting crazy buffed, cool new kits / abilities, and overall just becoming stupid broken. First it was the tanks (juggernauts), then it was the ADCs. then it was the mages, and now it is the assassins (who probably didn't not need it but I will stop there). So I was wondering when are at least some of the supports going to get this same treatment because it is starting to feel Riot is leaving this role in the dust and with how some of these champions are getting super strong it is getting harder and harder for a support to do the job the role was designed to do. I just think it would be a great idea for supports to be shown the same love every other role is getting.

The next class update is either going to be Vanguards (offensive tanks) or Divers. If it's the first, you might see updates to some supports - particularly Leona, but also several "off-supports" like Nautilus and Sion

We do need an update. I want something to be done about the XP issues we run into.

Yes please. This needs to happen

Supports were the FIRST to get the very first big overhaul in season 4.

Whatsmore, they are the only class to regularly get updates along side whatever other class is also getting a dedicated update.

Where have you been, lol.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, the support role is extremely subjective, and it's possibly to make a large number of champions viable supports, with a wide ranging list of abilities and techniques, why do you feel so pigeonholed?

To be fair, a lot of the 'crazy buffs' on the Assassins were actually nerfs.

If i had to see a change, i wanna see them finally fix the AP utility scaling issue Enchanters have. Give them Mana regen scalings instead so they dont have to pigeon hold us since it'd overlap with midlane mages.

The reason why supports aren't buffed directly is because due to the nature of their abilities it would result in some supports going to other lanes (I.E blitz going top lane again)

Supports are gated via items builds

The next big overhaul? Are you joking? This preseason is a huge overhaul for supports and Alistar even got a minor rework. They changed a bunch of support items and added 2 new support items. It sounds like your saying you want a support rework which doesn't make much sense because supports are already unique and no one has ever complained about how all supports are OP or UP.
