A smaller, but helpful buff to Udyr

tl;dr: PBE buffs might be a bit extreme. A smaller QoL change might help udyr without turning him into a problem again.

Make Pheonix and Tiger stance an Auto Reset.

One of Udyr's biggest issues right now is that he's too easy to kite. He doesn't get enough value out of building full tank, so he's forced to rush at least 1 damage item to be relevant. Unfortuntely this means that he tends to lack the tankiness to get onto the backline without getting peeled away and blown up.

One solution is to pack udyr with so many stats, or so much built in damage that he becomes unhealthy vs certain comps that can't properly kite him or deal with his splitpush. It's hard to tell by looking at the numbers, but the mini-rework looks to be heading somewhat in that direction.

Instead of tuning his numbers, a safer bet might be to fix some if the conflictions within his kit.

Right now, Udyr's stun feels very underwhelming. Not because of the duration, but because Udyr is so terribly bad at following up on his own engages.

There is a weird delay every time udyr switches from bear stance to pheonix stance. If udyr was in the process of autoing upon switching stances, the auto attack is canceled entirely and he just stands there and does nothing. In the time it takes for him to sit there and contemplate life, he's losing precious seconds on the stun he'd worked so hard to land.

There's no reason for this mechanic to exist. It takes power away from his 1v1 potential. Udyr is supposed to be a somewhat selfish that chooses to position himself in a lane furthest away from the rest of his team. Why then, is he not able to deal damage after landing his stun. By the time the delay is over, you've maybe hit the oponent with one pheonix proc before they dash, blink, or flash away and you're forced to chase them down again in hopes of landing another ineffective stun. Against meele opponents, the stun should allow udyr to gain a brief advantage and wail on his helpless opponents, but nope, gotta stare in to the abyss real quick and wonder what he's doing with his life.

Where his stun truly shines is in skirmishes or teamfights, when it can be used to peel, disrupt, or set up picks. But why are you playing udyr as a teamfighter?

This problem is less noticable on tiger stance udyr, but adding the reset onto tiger stance should help with overall fluidity.

Honestly you should use the time in which you can't auto after the e stun to run ahead of them ( I'm with you on the fact that it's annoyng that switching stance cancels auots but that really isn't what makes Udyr bad right now). Also do you really think that an auto reset would make udyr suddenly good? I'd take the new heal on w over auto resets anyday.

I gave my opinions about the buff in my post. The point was to present a smaller QoL change to udyr that would help his kit function a bit better without changing his numbers.
