Bard Jungle:
Cinderhulk + Warmogs + Randuins + Spirit Visage = over 4400 health
Throw in boots of mobility - alacrity for insane movement speed with the shrines included.
.... I don't know what to build for the sixth item. Something for damage?
Had 99 stacks at the end of that game, and that was after dc'ing for a bit.
^^ This was my third game with Bard. It was marvelous.
My first game with bard I accidentally fed. HARD. My second game..... I still got "ooh candy" itis at the chimes. They are so alluring. Oh so many close escapes it was a lot of fun but I still fed :(.
So Things I've Learned About Bard after a few games:
-
Despite the "suggestion", you need to play Jungle. Your clear speed will suck. Badly. But you NEED lots of chimes and supporting an adc just doesn't cut it.
-
Chimes will randomly spawn in the enemies jungle early game. Towards the end of the game, they will spawn next to and behind enemy towers. Do not go for these dangerous chimes. It is not worth it. Focus on clearing your jungle instead and just give them up for lost. You will do a lot better.
-
Remember to clear your freaking jungle and use E to move around your jungle. It's very very very easy to go "ooh, a piece of candy" at every chime, but you've got 10 minutes to pick them up and you WILL be back that way at some point if you were able to get it in a safe spot. Clearing and coming back for it later will do you one better in the long run.

Level up and USE the shrines. Lay one down before each jungle camp attempted and lay down a second to heal up even further mid camp. This works REALLY well, especially once you get Cinderhulk and your clear speed isn't crap anymore.
