Can we please get a revamped system for controlled units?

I'm tired of having to wrestle for control with a Child of the Grave as they want to attack the creep wave while I'm telling it to push a tower.

I'm tired of Daisy running back to Ivern for a hug whenever I tell her to go smash somebody.

I'm tired of relying on AI to aim Illaoi's tentacle smashes and Heimer's beams.

I'm tired of not being able to tell units like Yorick's ghouls to back off (I wouldn't mind this so much if some genius on the balance team hadn't decided to make Ghoul attacks draw creep aggro to Yorick).

There's a lot of things in this game that are bad and have always been bad.

  • The Client
  • Death Recap
  • Micromanagement, especially for multiple units

This game was released in 2009. It's 2019.

We've memed about these things for long enough.

It's time that you get shit working.

IMO creep block is a bigger issue right now

This will never happen. First, riot wants to keep this game as casual as possible, so micromanagement can't get any more complex than it is. Second, riot is busy making ahri skins and more assassins, they literally do not care about things like this.

Except they've already implemented champions who use micro.

It's not a matter of complexity, it's a matter of functionality.

Starcraft got Micro down pretty much perfectly in 1998, but here we are in 2019 and a multi-million dollar game company can't manage anything better than "hold alt and the unit will do what you say, maybe, unless it chooses not to."

Yeah, it's almost like they don't give a shit. That's why they don't bother implementing new systems. This thread is completely pointless.

Illaoi? As far as I´ve seen her tentacles are pretty much the most reliable AI controlled thing in game. You W something, all tentacles in range smash toward there. You got an E out or someone is a Vessel, they will try to hit them with a reasonable delay to allow people to dodge.

The W is fine, since you're directing when and where they smash.

The E AI is terrible. It definitely needs to be something you can dodge, but some kind of player input would be nice so that you land more than zero tentacle hits from it.

You could play dota instead of lol, if you don't like this unit controll. Best advice EVAAAAA*[zombie-brand-mindblown]*
