Riot creations getting out of control

Is it just me or are all new newest champs out of control? Where are the days where a kit had strengths and weaknesses? Rek'sai seriously its like Riven but with free health regen that scales with AD. CC, Burst, AoE damage. Oh and an instant map teleport ultimate. Not to mention a free moving pink ward that can spot even stealth champs. Rek'sai can pop up delete anyone and then escape while regenerating health during the run a way. I look at his kit..... and I see 6 or 7 abilities that are all useful throughout the entire game. Then I look at Poppy, Evelynn, Gangplank, Galio, Sejuani, Taric, Urgot. They each have maybe 2 or 3 useful skills. Some of which require terrain or the enemy grouping together to be effective. It seems Riot is pushing us to these high mobility burst champs so the LCS matches are exciting and get great hits on Youtube. Thats not good for the game as a whole. I thought Riots whole vision was a game where Champ select did not determine the outcome of the match it was about play style and making sound in game decisions.

New champs who are definitely not overpowered:

Kallista Braum Vel'Koz Jinx Aatrox

So that's at least 50% of the total. Assuming you consider Yasuo, Lucian, Azir, Gnar, and Rek'Sai to be overpowered (and Lucian, Azir, and Yasuo aren't particularly competitive at the moment).

Champ select did not determine the outcome of the match

Counter-picking is a thing. I can't really give you counterplay against Riven (that's a fault of mine, not lack of there being counterplay), but I can tell you what weaknesses the new champs have. They aren't as OP as you make them sound, and it's also not like they are immune from being changed/balanced.

Riot has some of those weak champs you mentioned on their radar (or already on the re-workbench) anyway. I personally look forward to GP Urgot and Eve.
