I would like your opinion on his current situation.
May i also suggest this: A gold passive to make him independent from Jungle item.

What is your opinion on his current situation? Are you feeling like he's too weak, too strong, out of place, etc. Reds can talk all day about what they think but its more valuable to them to know what the playerbase thinks, and gives them a direction to respond to.

Gold passives have historically been either nerfed or removed altogether (Ashe, etc) because they are surprisingly strong but difficult to appreciate. Further, Fiddlesticks isn't really any more or less item dependent than any average Champion. And with his Silence/Fear, he can be extremely effective when played well even without a lot of items. So I don't think that a gold generation passive is what he would need if you feel he's weak in some way.
that passive is interesting. Have you tried starting Doran's Ring and mana pots? You obviously don't need health pots idk why they even suggest them.
With pots and Doran's you only really ever have to back when you want to, which helps compensate for the additional gold provided by machete. Then you don't waste 1300 on the worthless smite upgrade, and more worthless once you pay for runeglaive. No, by the time you could buy the machete upgrade you can almost afford a NLR.
