When Draven has 2 axes spinning and a third axe in the AIR!

is limited to a maximum number of two spinning axes in his hand. In addition He can also have as many as his AA speed would allow flying in the air.

However, if you catch an axe when 2 are already in your hand, you lose the axe. Therefore, you completely lose that axe, as if you dropped it. My suggestion is to make catching that axe refresh the cool-down of Q.

That will make even more fun to play and it will contribute to his unique identity.

mmmmm, I wouldn't really consider it a buff, because if you can get 3 axes spinning, then you are at a good position anyways. That is not to mention the high mechanical and high skill level you have to be at. Also, Draven already has a mana problem, so this can only be considered a late game buff.

Also, Draven is not at a great position right now, a buff would be in place actually.

It's either a buff or it isn't and it's definitely a buff. Not a major one.

haveing more than 2 axes at once is a proof of skill My record in a normal is 4 at once for around 5/6 seconds or so My record in urf was 6 [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

You can throw 2 into the air and have 2 in hand. If you can juggle them right (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome inducing stuff) with spamming your attack speed buff and other items then you can get that much in the air.

In theory, he can have first 4 autos of a fight all be spinning, if i am correct. (Chuck one while one is in air, catch that one, throw another, throw 3rd, use ability, hope u catch more)

Actually, you can have more than that, and theoretically speaking, you can keep them all.

The limits are the attack speed (AS) and how fast you can move. If you assume that Axes will always fall on you, then the only limit is AS.

Since each axe needs 2 seconds to fall, you can have 2xAS (up to 5.1=5) axes in the air, and holding 2, making it 7 in total.

This would definitely be a buff, as right now, if he catches the third axe, it is entirely wasted. If he gains the ability to recast it immediately, it would make up for him not auto attacking in time.

The problem is Lucian basically has Draven's Q on his passive, and he doesn't require catching anything.

YES THIS.

The matchup is entirely support reliant or you have to somehow catch him at a perfect time. Draven Vs Lucian or Jhin in my opinion is his worst matchup.

Please no, Draven when in the hands of someone good is already one of the best ADCs. He can easily 3 shot most people mid to late game since his crits with his Q easily exceed 1.5k while most other adcs only hit like 700crits with the rare 1k.

Last thing we need is Draven to be the old Vayne where her simply existing meant that team had a high chance of winning.

when u have enough atk speed u are able to handle 3 axes even 4...like u can solo baron when u use it properly. im sure theres ytb video about it

I don't like the idea. Right now at least some of the time he only has 1 spinning axe. If he get it off cd when he caught one, he could so easily get a 2nd almost always.
