*Sigh* how is this fair?

Now i'm not talking about a champion, i'm asking how the matchups i'm getting are fair cause I just faced someone who had around 130 masteries while i'm at around 60 and pretty much the rest of his teammates were over 100 one was even over 200 masteries. So how exactly is this fixed? It's pretty simple, pair up the player with teammates and enemies that are around their skill level and not just leave it up to their base level. If this happened a few times I wouldn't be posting this but it happens so often that I grow to expect it. Maybe it's just cause i'm bad at this game, maybe i'm just getting unlucky, or maybe it's something else I dunno I just wanted to get this off my chest.

Mastery means nothing. It just means you play a lot. It doesn't say anything about how much you try to learn from your mistakes. MMR is what matters, because that is based on how much you win or lose, not how much you play.

Well, just because you have less levels on champions doesn't mean you're worse at the game. For example, imagine a dude who only plays 5 champs, and never tries anyone new. He has lvl 7 in all of them, and is currently in Diamond. His mastery # is currently hovering around 45. Now, imagine, say, me. I am bronze 4, but have about 170 masteries, since I like trying new champs - I've got lvl 1/2 on at least 30 champs. Basically, that guy with the lvl 7's could whoop my butt, even though I have almost 4 times the number of masteries. Basically, Masteries don't count towards your skill - they count towards your diversity of skill.

well my friend has over 300 mastery but has never beat me in a 1v1 or beat me decision making or mechanically and i dont even have 200 mastery its not how much you play every champ it is how good you are with your champ vs his.
