To be fair, if Gnar gets nerfed, he'll go back to that state of non-viability he was at on launch.

The problem with Gnar is that he really doesn't have a bad matchup. With his two forms, he always has a way to counter someone.

Yeah, Vayne has always been viable but at least she was controllable before Graves and Lucian got nerfed.

I know he's really good, but he's in a situation where he's either really good or too unreliable to be viable (that rhymed).

Graves and Lucian nerfs were quite a while before the juggernaut patch.

Yeah, but we were talking about champs being in the top tier since release. When Graves and Lucian were strong, you didn't Vayne that often.

yea, i remember. i hated the fact that everyone had range, mobility and cc and i still wasnt able to outduel them when i caught them in melee range because they also dealt more or equal damage.

the jug patch was one of the best patches in a long time. sure darius was far too weak, then overbuffed until 5.19 where he was finally in a good place (now hes too weak again). skarner too op upon initial release and quickly brought into a good spot, just like garen whos also fine right now. and it took some time to even them out. but overall, fuck mobility creep and ranged carry dominance. at least low mobility champs got a fighting chance again. and other bruisers benefit from the items aswell. the entire class was in a bad spot for a long time.

the only outlier is morde, but im confident with some work, they can keep him as a bot lane fighter and make him balanced.
