Remove the Report System

Now I know I'm just one dude out of a million players, who all want and like different features than me, but I am just here to share my opinion, in the hopes of maybe, MAYBE, my opinion will matter to the Rito gods. Some of you might call me toxic, and that's okay, everyone has thier own opinion! :) In fact, if you call me toxic, you're probably just as/more toxic than me so I'm not offended bud. Anyway, let's get started!

TL;DR: The report system does nothing but make toxic environments worse and make toxic players perform and act worse. There is no reason for it to be in the game, since it is used almost 100% times as a threat, and when players are threatened, they will not perform as well or will become even more toxic, and that ruins games.

Remove the report system, Rito. I know a few of you are like "Why would Rito do that? I love ruining games and making my teammates feel bad/insecure by telling everyone to report them and using it as a threat!" well, if that's you, stop reading now because this post isn't for you. I feel like in 99.99% of games, comebacks are possible. Even 4v5. But what stops these comebacks from happening or being possible is the community. Example:

InvalidGaming(Diana): Hey Draven, stop over-extending and dying, they are stronger than you now. lordofnubz19(Draven): Stfu diana ur **** uninstall u noob enemy botlane gets a doublekill [All]lordofnubz19(Draven): reprt diana verbal abus pls lordofnubz19(Draven): ur so bad diana ward pls InvalidGaming(Diana): I have been warding they just caught me off guard. lordofnubz19(Draven): stfu noob ur bad InvalidGaming(Diana): I'm sorry that you think that, and the fact that you're telling me to ward is hilarious, considering you've died to ganks at least three times. [All]lordofnubz19(Draven): srsly pls report diana so toxic

And now the entire team starts fighting and the negative atmosphere only gets worse. We lose the game even though we were only behind a little, yet our team was unable to win or comeback because we weren't able to try 100% due to the negative attitude. Some of you might say "how does a negative attitude make ur team lose, u noob uninstall!" well, if that's you, stop reading now because this post isn't for you.

Now, the non-toxic and non-whiny babies of you who are still here, you may be asking "Why would Rito remove the report system?" and my answer to that is, name one positive effect the report system has on the community and game. Yes, toxic players will get banned, or receive chat restrictions, but what does that matter? Half of the time the person reporting them is just as/more toxic as them, yet they still receive punishment. I'd rather let these toxic people or trolls go free rather than MAYBE, just MAYBE, they can receive punishment at the cost of my ranked game.

The report system does nothing but cause more negative atmosphere and cause more toxic behavior, ESPECIALLY when it is used as a threat. A player is not going to perform well when a TEAMmate is telling everyone to report him, it isn't proven but it doesn't need to be, because it's a little too obvious to need testing. Here is all the report options and why we don't need them:

1. Offensive Language: WE HAVE A CHAT FILTER, USE IT IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY SOME WORDS!
2. Verbal abuse: WE HAVE A MUTE BUTTON, USE IT IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED BY PEOPLE TELLING YOU THIER OPINIONS OR BEING A LITTLE TOXIC!
3. Assisting Enemy Team: This doesn't happen and I don't think there is a punishment. :/
4. Unskilled Player: This is just a bait for all the players who act negatively towards players who perform poorly in a single game! So basically its to calm down all the toxic players by giving them a lil' button.
5. Refuses to Communicate with Team: This guy is probably fed up with the toxic community. And if you ever click this report option, he knew what he was doing.
6. Negative Attitude: Read number 2.
7. Spamming: Put a spam-stopper thingy machingy, Rito! :) 8: Inappropiate Name: If you are offended by someones username, well, stop reading now because this post isn't for you.

Now that I have proven that all report options are easily solved, and shown or tried to show how saying "report this dude" can create or make a toxic atmosphere even worse, can you explain to me why you still need one? Also, getting a "Your attitude isn't up to par with other Summoner's, you have been reported for 'bla bla bla' We know everyone has bad days, just don't take it out on your teammates!" message can really cause tilt and make the negative attitude from that player even worse.

**If you're the person who just LOVES the report system SOOOOO much and you LOVE knowing that the player you are reporting is going to go on making games even worse for everyone on their teams and that eventually they will receive punishment and become worried about their accounts safety, then you are the one who needs to be reported. **That's effed up. Just mute them, I mean it's not going to cause any harm to your game or your personal feelings, and make sure you don't tell them you are muting them, because that's negative.

There's the question: "Well if someone can't communicate with his/her teammates without being toxic and needs to be muted 50% of their games (assuming they have a 50% winrate) why should they be able to play the game! Teammates need to cooperate through chat!" well the answer to that is no. Players do not need to communicate through chat. At all. In fact the only positive reason I can think of having a chat is the beginning of the game when people are joking around in all chat. "They are getting dragon/baron!" use pings to show that. "I think (insert jungler name here) is in toplane jungle!" use pings to show that. "I think our noob and toxic Draven that needs to uninstall is overextending!" **USE PINGS TO SHOW THAT!!! **:)

Yes I know this is probably going to get 1k downvotes, or never viewed like my other post did. That's probably because the 50% of the community this post is against is the one that mainly inhabits the boards. But that's okay, because at the end of the day, were all just little players with little opinions in a huge community where 1% of the community's opinion isn't going to make a change.

Meh that's the end of my rant. Before you go into comments and post "Bronze." (do it, it will be funny, I swear), just know that I'm Gold 5 100 LP. :3 Before you go into the comments and say "Gold 5 isn't hard to get." Just know that everyone in Gold 5 has heard that before, and you don't need to say it. (go ahead and do it, probably won't be that funny though)

Maybe if this post gets popular I'll make another post and link it here. Don't want to overcrowd a post with too much "noob and toxic" opinions though, that would suck.
