Being Toxic is Ban--Worthy, but Not Speaking English Isn't?

Listen, I know there are plenty of toxic people on North America servers that ruin games every day by tilting their teammates with their passive-aggressive jabs and their crazy insults. Sadly, I'd rather have any one of those fools rather than someone that cannot understand English. A toxic person can respond to me telling them to build items, can give advice to teammates, and tell them about when they can gank, and the list goes on and on. Sadly, someone who can't speak English can't do all of these things with just pings.

Going on, I think it's hypocritical that Riot bans toxic players because 'they can't use the chat to communicate with teammates', but doesn't ban/relocate players who cannot speak English. Or, they can use the excuse 'we ban toxic players because they can offend and tilt teammates' which in my opinion is an even worse excuse. It is your CHOICE to be offended by something that some fat nerd that lives in a basement across the country has to say. If you don't have the balls to take an insult like a mature adult, either do /mute all or grow some. Not to mention most reports are done people who are just as/more toxic than the person they are reporting.

I have an easy solution to this problem, it's quite simple to be honest. There would be a new report category labeled "Cannot Speak English" or something else. If a player receives a SUBSTANTIAL amount of these reports, and analysis of their games confirms they do not speak English, they are given an option. When they log-in, they are presented with a new screen that shows all the regions and their pings. They then have to choose one, and their account INCLUDING rank and MMR are transferred to that region, for free.

Yes I know, transferring to another region costs 2600 RP. I guess if you really NEED to charge people who can't speak English, go ahead. I respect your thirst for money, it's okay. It's for the better good of both the people on NA and the transferred people.

In case you were wondering, I haven't been banned for being toxic. Well, at least not in a year, and I learned my lesson. I barely rage, and when I do, it's because of Riot's balance (Kappa) I'd very much prefer to rage out loud than tilt my own teammates. I just enjoy to play at night, and when my game is ruined by people who can't speak English (dang I wish there was a word for those) it is really annoying.

Anyway thanks for reading, pls upvote so Riot can see, peace! [slayer-jinx-catface]

Everyone has a right to play League on any server they wish as long as they conform to the rules. There is no language restriction. If you are worried about communication, that is what pings are for.

NA includes Canada which has quebec. Also United states has a rather large asian, hispanic, middle eastern demographic scale. Not everyone speaks english in NA you can't punish someone for speaking what they know.

The US doesn't even have an official national language, people are free to speak whatever they want

by that logic, EU would be banned. like the whole server. because there is no language that is mainly spoken on this server. sure english but i know a ton of ppl who dont speak english.

Why would they need to speak English? Server is not in England. And NA is home to many languages and cultures, not just English.

That could be a thread of LeBraum

I think you are confusing America with North America. Also are you sure "mature adult" means what you think it means?

I tend to agree.

Not speaking english should result in a server transfer.... do note that english is not my native language, nor is it the language spoken in my country.

it would probably be more effective if riot could create games based on the language in the client select and I agree that it is annoying when they do not speak english, however, most players tend to rely on mechanical skill and pings anyway, so what is the difference?

League needs to ban ANYONE who doesn't speak ENGLISH on the NORTH AMERICAN servers.

That's it. It's cost me countless games from kids not knowing English that willingly lose game on NA servers because they refuse to learn the Language.

This isn't "xenophobia" or any other bull crap excuse. This is about kids purposely logging in to screw with English speakers.
