Put a number to the MMR and let us see it!

I myself can't think of a reason our MMR is invisible besides this thing called "ladder anxiety" but I'm pretty sure most of us would be okay with it being visible to ourselves, right? I don't want it to be viewed by friends or websites or anything like that, but at least let us see it to know where were at and put a number to it. You can even let us know what the average MMR of our division and LP is. The way I would do this is by having Bronze 5, 0 LP, be 0 points, and Diamond 1 100 LP being 2500 points. (B5 0 LP - D1 100 LP is 2500 LP) You can even make it so that you don't have to see your own MMR if you don't want to, so that the people with "ladder anxiety" don't have to be stressed. I understand that your MMR is what determines who you play against, and that it goes up and down dependent on your winrate and performance (I think), but I'd like to know what I'm going up against next time I queue up. I think it would probably stop some of the toxicity because that person obviously had to have the same MMR as you and therefore be nearly as good or better than you. I mean, the whole division set-up is just a way to give people a goal and satisfaction for climbing, to attract them to play ranked and give them something to go for, but that doesn't mean our MMR has to be hidden from ourselves. Anyway I'm just a scrub Gold 5 player that's only played since August 2014, so I never got to play with the ELO system and I'm not super experienced, but I think everyone would like to be able to see their MMR and that's why I'm posting this. Also, I'm probably not the first person to suggest this and sorry if someone already has, I'm not very active on the boards.
