Soraka needs a little damage buff

Before her recent mini rework in 6.5 her Q, Starcall did a lot of damage. It used to do 325 magic damage with 52.5% ap ratio if hit in the center, but now they took the sweetspot away and it kind of does no damage. It may have a lot more utility than it used to but I think it should still do a decent amount of damage. Yes, supports shouldn't really do damage but a support needs to peel for her carry. Yes, she can heal but she also needs to do some damage. I was thinking of from 230 magic damage with 35% ap ratio to 275 magic damage to 45% ap ratio. I think it compensates for removal of the sweetspot.

Why should the champion entirely focused on heals and utility do damage

if they want her to move forward and be more vulnerable with her Q, they SHOULD NOT HAVE IT SO UNREWARDING TO LAND IT. they need to add something based on how many people you hit, i dont understand why they took that aspect away too. they made raka horrible.

Soraka is the highest win rate support in the entire game.

She doesn't need a buff at all. She needs a nerf.

I mean if they focus Soraka she's good as dead.

And she needs a healing nerf.

I played Soraka top recently against a Jax or something. It was some weird hypercarry lane I was against. I had a perfect KDA and did amazing damage. Soraka is still OP as hell right now.

If Soraka is winning duels against a Jax, then he needs to go back to A.I. games...

There's no good excuse for that happening. Dual lanes for a primary support end up becoming toxic, like with Lulu. Riot has shown that they don't know how to balance those correctly, and usually the support side ends up suffering because of it. Or she could end up like Sona, a support that is AP thirsty and really should be reworked as a mid laner.

Soraka shouldn't be putting out damage to begin with because people choose her for her insane out trade/sustain potential. You cannot add damage coming from her on top of it. As Soraka you protect your teammates, and they protect you. If you get caught, either you did something wrong or your carry did.
