Replacing Rageblade

I haven't played in about 3 months. With all the changes I'm a bit excited to start playing again. My one issue right now is figuring how I am going to swap out rageblade for another item using Mordekaiser. The item gives him basically everything he wants early to mid game at a cheap cost. Now with the price hike it doesn't look feasible to buy it as a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or even fourth item. I used to use rage blade as a way to help push Morde to a 1 attack per second time window earlier as well as keep level 6 dragon relevant. Now I can't seem to justify a single bonus AD item. The next best thing seems to be gunblade, but the healing got way worse on that and if I can save 3400 gold 3600 gold isn't to far away from rage blade. I was hoping for a nice 2500-3k option but it doesn't look like it exists.

Maybe I just have to ignore the dragon scaling now? If dragon scaling was made total instead of bonus I wouldn't feel the hit so hard when upgrading my fist to sterak's. Now it looks like I am back to full AP instead of branching off to hybrid for more damage gains.

Maybe ghostblade wouldn't be a total wash at 3200? Then again that is it's only 200 gold from gunblade and 3200 is pushing the price when Morde has some many other investments to chase.
