Why this difference between ADC and Mage on base stats compensation?

It's not like ADC were super star carry and mage underwhelming last season. You see more and more AD in mid lane and they win early trade they were used to lose. Riot admited the state of mage, but please can you stop buffing AD before you buff AP?

Note : ADC base ability damage got compensated by 5 or 10 damage because base AD does no scale with ability.
