No seriously. Guess people just hate to try to understand me, I'll just make it as a quick review on my last match.

I poked with this new poke combo right? Sure, the damage was pretty dumb, farming was slow and stuff... Both my enemies on lane were failing to hit me as I ran off with W and kept poking with my passive. But that isn't my issue...

I finally ended with low deaths and a positive KDA after the suffering... My problem is that I ended 5/4/15

Yeah, that;'s my issue... I had 15 assists, fun part? I had to have 15 kills minimum...

Okay I will pretend to agree with the counter play stuff ect ect.

But get real. I had the kills on my own and all that, but I couldn't take my last hits simply because I had to wait for the daggers 1.25 seconds to fall... While Mr. "I'm nerf with counter play" Talon, just came... Did "HUE HUE HUE" and casted INSTANT DAMAGE, HUGE DAMAGE, BURST. Spells and took my kills for the time I waited... Yeah, he just keeps taking my 100-200 HP kills in less than a second while I'm waiting...

Okay, I was like "ok he's an assassin it's his job"... Until few mins later... Bang, Malph came and did the same and stole my triple... His ULT and aoe spell shot FASTER, than my daggers landed, even if I tossed my daggers ages ago...

Okay... He's a tank, he can burst more than me... Lets go to the next case... Oh look... Evenelyin... She has counter play now... She wont KS me... Here goes! I'm about to take my double kill! HUE HUE from eve, ULT and Q, bang double steal...

Basically how am I an assassin, if everyone bursts faster than me and I cant even take kills?

Clearly now ppl will come and say "l2P', or "shunpo on daggers" or "position propelly"... but no, that aint a issue of any of that sort... I do all my stuff flawless and about to take the kill 100%, no strings attached... But everyone, literally everyone just bursts faster than me... Better than me... From bigger distance than me... This is getting really really annoying...

Clearly nobody cares, but such issues never existed with the old kit... This kit is just made for you to never get fed, if you're not completely alone 100000% sure nobody from the team is near...

counter play to kat is avoid the daggers that reset her shunpo, that 1.25 second window is all they have to avoid instant damage, so you play around it. thats how it works, and you probably shouldnt play a game with so many assassin in it, you'll never snowball that way

P.S. I just stated that all assassins still have the instant burst and Kata has a 1.25 window, Try to use some logic in that, okay ?

You mentioned Talon can Q to steal a kill. So basically his ability was off cooldown, and you used your Q (you know it does damage before the dagger lands). katarina still has instant damage abilities. It's just her spin to win passive has a delay. Her dagger bounce, Shunpo onto the enemy, and ultimate still do damage fairly quickly. Just because Talon and Malphite KS'd you doesn't mean Katarina has no ways to do damage fast.

EDIT: You are trying to get people to 'use logic' with you when you're talking like a middle schooler. "HUE HUE HUE". The way you're communicating isn't earning you any respect or consideration to take your post or opinions seriously. It just sounds like you're bad at the new kit and wish that you didn't have to plan mopping everyone up.

I don't want respect f none of you... My Q has 0.25 AP ration and low base damage, so there's no instant dmg and my E is pretty much 200 dmg at level 5... Yeah I'm bad at the new kit... comparing myself to the mirror picks I'm doing like Chuck Norris, vs Mr. Bean... And yet I hate how my scores end and how the kit plays...

  1. Your Q has a .3 AP ratio. It is called Bouncing Blade.
  2. Your E is what has the .25 AP ratio and low damage. It also has a .65 AD ratio. It is called Shunpo.
  3. And you won't get respect from any boards OR any Rioter in charge of considering board posts for potential changes. I guess you just wanted to complain about a kit that you are bad. shrug I suggest an easier kit. Annie is probably up your alley.

I* know all of Katarina spells perfectly fine by name, but glad you act like you're cool and "teach me" the names, simply because I didn't call the Q, BB or Bouncing Blades, or the E SP, or shunpo... or the W, SS or Sinister Steel... TY sensai teacher...

If I'm that bad with the new kit then why I'm already getting fed and winning my counters and getting flamed how Op and broken and brainless my champion is? Plus I don't play brainless champs like Annie... I pref to have skill than to bash my Q for 1040104 dmg and stuns...

This is from the patch notes put out by Riot showing that you are still wrong about the AP Ratios.

UPDATEDQ - Bouncing Blades Katarina throws a dagger, dealing damage to her target and nearby enemies. Then, the dagger ricochets onto the ground behind her initial target . If Katarina picks up a dagger, she uses it to slash through all nearby enemies.

COOLDOWN 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 seconds ⇒ 11/10/9/8/7 seconds DAMAGE 60/85/110/135/160 ⇒ 75/105/135/165/195 RATIO 0.45 ability power ⇒ 0.3 ability power

E - Shunpo COOLDOWN 12/10.5/9/7.5/6 seconds ⇒ 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 seconds DAMAGE 40/70/100/130/160 ⇒ 30/45/60/75/90 RANGE 700 ⇒ 725 RATIO 0.25 ability power ⇒ 0.65 total attack damage +0.25 ability power

Therefore, Q AP ratio is .3 not .25, and E AP ratio is .25 not .15.

You're welcome, and I was more of trying to use the name just in case you mixed up the Key binding in your head since you were way off, but might have been right on one if you had just mixed them up. Turns out you were just plain wrong, but my guess is that you're too dug in to admit you're wrong and will continue to blunder on saying Q has a .25 ratio. ~ Sensei

I was wrong with 0.05! :OOOOO Because that's a huge difference of 5 dmg at level 18 full build... And I clearly said I don't know the AD ration on shunpo

Well that's probably the problem right there. You have only 100AP at level 18. No wonder you can't succeed with her. Try building more AP.

no no, 100 AP. Like I said. 100. Not 1000 (which is what 1k represents). so .05 = 5%. .05 of 100 = 5 (the number you said). So if like you said, .05 AP ratio off at lvl 18 is 5 damage (like you said). Thus you have built 100 AP (#Math). So like I said if you're only building 100 AP (again. not 1000 AP), that's too little AP on katarina. She needs a lot more. Are you sure you were good with her old kit even?

again .05 * 100 AP = 5 damage

You want some logic dude ?

-Talon's Q : Blades aren't going back instantly, they got more than half a second of cd. So that's not his fault if that Talon had some damage to put on ennemies. -Malphite's Q : The rock needs time to reach the target. -Malphite's R : Malphite needs to travel to the designed location to deal damage and has an high AP ratio, so he got a nice burst even with a little bit of AP. -Eve's R : Same as Malphite's R, but it has a little, non-instant casting delay. -Eve's Q : Spammable. -Why are you considering that assists are a bad thing over kills ? Just notice that having 4 fed team-mates is a better situation than having only a fed midlaner. -By the way, the word "KS" is just an excuse. The goal is to win, not to get the highest amount of kills.

The spells of the champs you mentionned make their identity. You are certainly not learning anything, but i'm just using logic, trying to understand.

I'm an assassin and I consider myself as the one who should get some kills instead of the people who don't even do anything to help me whole game xD THe old Katarina kit made her indentity too but then they changed her, so backfire yourself with that logic...

What logic dude ? -Go 25/0 just after 15 min on midlane, if all your team-mates get stomped at the same time, i wonder how well you'll perform on teamfights. They got a strong frontline ? To have fun? Please majority of low level and vs AI games are only bots, a huge chuck of the community has left ages ago to play OW... The game is currently filled with smurfs, bots, botted accounts that are bough at level 30 by perma banned ragers... Few high elo players who don't care for the lower elo problems because they don't know how to use chat and just play their high elo games and know the bots/ragers will never get to dia 2 +...

Go 25/0 on mid after 15 mins? Who does that? If you're fed with like 2-3 kills you help your losing lanes so you can win the game... That's the charm of old Kata, she could of helped a losing bot or top... This new one cant help herself even... One gank and mid is pretty much over for her...

Never said you should go 1v5... You should be able to considered a good bait on your own and assassinate the enemies one by one... Which old Kata could new one cant, because she's too slow and backup will come way too fast... Supports can assassinate faster than her now... So IDK what your points are...

I said assassins should be able to get a majority of their own kills, instead of been so slow that everyone can steal the kills from them...

I wont enjoy my Kata matchups ever again... But I'll play as long as Katarina is Katarina, most likely gonna leave if they make a voice change or the appearance is changed to NOT been Kata anymore...

Seriously why don't you try to read what I wrote previously on all my posts? I'm already getting flamed for playing a broken a brainless/skilelss champion and it's only day 2 of her rework... The kit is just horrible, I'm going to master this thing np, but even if I get announced as number 1 Katarina world wide with it I'll still claim it's horrible and the old one was better... Because it IS... Can I have a legacy server with her old kit now? TY

And people can downvote all they want, I preached it before it came life, the day it came life 100 ppl complained about what I preach, provoing I was right, but who cares... I'm that one person that nobody believes or listens or cares about... Especially the devs. But Dw, till the end of the month I'll end my Tale, that I post every weekend, mainly because both the community and riot offended me deeply and then I wont even bother coming to boards, because clearly this community hate me and doesn't want me. ^^

My dislike for you stems from you putting everyone who doesn't agree with you down and just outright blaming Riot as if they have a personal grudge against you. It's not constructive at all.

I haven't downvoted or even insulted this thread because you actually bring up some problems that you feel about her kit (dagger drop speed) without going straight to demanding they should revert the rework. You actually seem open to opinions then.

Did you get attacked? Yeah, but an eye for an eye and someone ends up blind.

If you're going to leave, fine. Leave. No one but yourself is stopping you.

Also that's a Redheaded Mercy. The only common thing is the hair style and color. Other than that it isn't at all a Katarina picture.

Same face, has the scar, hair color, eye color, if the armor wasn't on it has a tattoo aswell, only issue is my PC is bad and steam downgrates, if I could use the higher quality textures and steam didn't ruin the quality she'd have new dawn level face. . I'll show you literally the same without the mercy armor :)

And I do take it as personal, because on every single post about it when they asked for the opinion of people mine got ignored, while same time stupid questions that had nothing to do with the rework or champ were answered, literally in a 2 mins difference period... What else can I think of it as ? ^^ I don't want the dagger drop speed to be change, because then she'll magically become "OP" again... I'm already getting verbally abused ingame that I'm playing a "0 skill champ, broken champ" ect ect... If she gets a speed buff I'll get abused as hell...

Well (and maybe I read this wrong) you said that when people respond negatively to you or say "you don't know what you're talking about" or give a detailed explanation of why you might be wrong, you can't really think of them being right.

I'm probably not making much sense here (I apologize) but let me ask. Do you ever consider the possibility that you might be wrong on Katarina? Not that you are or are not wrong, but that you might be.

Nobody ever gave me an actual explanation, I just get "she's fine" or "she's OP" or "just l2p"... So I don't see how I might be wrong... I go ingame, get called a brainless no skill champ, when I go to the boards and say that no matter if I beaten the bad guys up and got flamed, I don't see this kit as been good... You cant go telling me I'm bad or just "its op" or "its good" with no actual answer, whiel same time I performed great... I mean c'mon I already managed to get a S+ with the new kit and I am managing to do Kata jungle again on a level 10 account, but I don't think the kit is to cheer for it, but the new golems that are bloody awesome for KAta jungle... would of done it way easier with the old kit.

So it's hard to see myself wrong when I write a book, of stuff that happen ingame and I observe and see and at the end I get called stupid, unskilled or simply retarded as a comment and magically -1000 downvotes...

But you wont bother to see my point so idk why I bother writing a book about it... Neither riot or the community cares and I just write and write... ^^

People dealing 100-200 damage to target you have already wounded doesn't prove anything...

And Talon can deal 100-200 damage instantly, sure, but his full combo is definitely not instant. He needs 3 abilities to hit for his passive, then to proc his passive with an aa, then the bleed is a DoT over 2 seconds.

No my point is that my combo is so slow, that even a talon can jump over a wall and rushi n steal my kills and go home, before my daggers land...

He can deal tons of damage and escape easily and be safer in less than 2 seconds, while I wait like some monkey for my daggers to fall while everyone takes my kills and I end up with 50-100 gold from a double kill I should originally gotten 400-600... Making me scale slower and fall behind while everyone else scales fine... But same time my bounty goes up, but now I die more often aswell, because I cant ward jump and every slows or has bigger range than my "daggers"/shunpo range and I cant charge myself forwards or behind a wall into safe zone with this, except if I don't hit the big raptor in a perfectly aimed loc so my Q can fall on the other side, which is pretty bad if you're in enemy jungle. Oh forgot gromp too, but the exit is right next to the spot it falls anyway, so it's not much of a help... ^^
