THE ULTIMATE TEAM COMP

This is in my opinion the best team comp possible. If a group of 5 people were to practice on a weekly basis, each specialise in one of the champs below and then go Ranked. They could probably climb to Plat even if they each individually only play at the Silver level.

Top lane: Jax

Mid lane: Vladimir

JG: Amumu

ADC: MissFortune

Support: Malphite

You'll have to figure out a few back-up picks in case some of the above gets picked or banned. In games where you're worried about counter juggling, just switch out Amumu with Sejuani

...

Now why does this work?

You have insane team fights potential. Malphite and Amumu can easily start fights, and then Vlad and MF just move in destroy everything AOE style. One Vlad Ultimate cast over the enemy team + an MF Ultimate will just completely destroy them.

I really don't see how they can out-team fight you. Also, Vladimir is extremely OP right now as a damage-dealing AOE tank (he's tanky AND he deals AOE damage) and late game he's easily equal to 2 other champs if not behind. As a Vlad main, I'm confident that he can hold his own in lane against any of of the other mainstream Mid picks right now (just have to know how to vary his play style).

The Jax is in there to either help burst down/tank in these team fights, or to serve as a back up split pusher in situations where this is required. The rest of the 4 players are relatively unbeatable in team fights. Jax can also prevent split pushes because he's such an insane duelist.

This way... if the enemy team fights, they lose. If they split push, they're unlikely to succeed because you have Jax, one of the best duelists in the game.

...

What do you think?

Ultimate team comp?

Its pretty shitty because of the below average wavleclear and the complete fokus on teamfighting. Run into sivir and a competent splitpusher and youll struggle a lot.

Low wave clear?

Vladimir with item 3065 is one of the best wave-clearer in the whole game. A split pushing Jax can arm any number of suitable items to wave clear if it comes to that.

I included Jax so we can have a back-up split push strategy. Assuming you appoint one of the other 4 players as a captain to lead the 4 people squad while Jax pushes the other lane... you could make it work. You're unlikely to meet another group of 5 people pre-made who have practiced and are in such good communication. Basically Jax would go Top while the other 4 people show up around Bot and bait (while avoiding unfavourable fights)... or vice versa until the enemy screws up.

Jax is also a great team fighter. He's not dead weight in such a situation. He can easily focus and kill key targets when the main initiators open. Either that or he can peel with his Leap + Counterstrike stuns.

Not to mention out of 4 of your characters, most of your main damage dealers (Vlad and Jax) are tanky in the late game in addition to being damage dealers. They are not glass cannons. The enemy can't quickly focus down key targets besides MF (and if they do, simply have her buy a GA and a Bloodthirster and kite).

Jax can out split just about anyone... so I doubt that'd be hard. Not to mention malph/amumu can make anyone fight.

Tbh, I think he's right. That comp would make plat easy.

Yeah. Imagine if 5 people sat down, and practiced 1 of the above on a daily basis and trained for say a few months in normals.

I expect they would climb pretty fast. Even if matched against another pre-made, most of them just fool around lol

What if you face a competent team that knows how to not cluster together. Or a dive team orientated as like...Kled/Renekton/Sivir who can just dive the MF who's your main source of damage?

I would say that statistically due to his safety and tankiness/slipperiness and insane damage, Vladimir is much more likely to be the main source of damage and he simply cannot be bursted down.

I regularly deal the most damage on the team with Vladimir even though my first 2 items are defensive (item 3065 item 3157).

If the enemy has a play style where they keep diving and knocking MissFortune then one option is to have MF sacrifice some of her damage to get a GA while Jax and Vladimir step up in their respective roles as the main damage dealers.

I wouldn't say this is a classic Protect-the-Carry comp (ex Jinx Blitzcrank Ahri Rammus Gnar ) where you have 2 damage dealers with everyone else providing utility. In that example comp for example, if Jinx keeps getting focused or is forced to build semi-defensively, you lose tons of damage (maybe even half of it).

Its more of a 3 damage dealer comp with 2 of the 3 being un-targettable (Vladimir and Jax). If their plan is to focus MF they can't do so without focusing on team fights, which is where we tend to control the pace and the start of the battles.
