... maybe it was the wrong approach.

Currently I've been building cinderhulk and then even sightstone on my jungle Rek'Sai, and the damage still seems pretty strong...

Only have 8 bonus AD from runes until 15 minutes into the game...

Because I get tanky from cinderhulk first I have the option to pick up a real damage item later if I want. But even as mostly tank Rek'Sai is still pretty relevant with all the knockups and her damage. At least that's been my experience.

They repeatedly nerf her damages while repeatedly buffing her knockup and mobility. They have turned her from a damage dealer into a high mobility knockup bot. Which is why in LCS people don't even bother building item 3074 , a core item on her, anymore. They just build straight tank after item 3707 .

At least her winrate is nowhere near elise.

With the amount of mobility in her kit, having that kind of damage was ludicrous. They really should've hit her tankiness, making her a silent killer. I'm not even a Rek player, but considering her lore and character, it'll be more thematic.

Rek'Sai has quite a lot of armor and hp at early game, even compared to other tanks/bruiser.

I do like how strong her first clear is though... Rek'Sai may be a stealthy character, but she is no Kha'Zix, she is a monster built for tough combat the way I see it.

I was thinking we move some of her base damage down at rank 5, but maybe put a bit of the damage back into her AD ratios

Of course, some of the problem is how good cinderhulk is right now... that is a different topic.

They've basically turned her into Elise. All her power is in her bases and building damage is useless.

It is funny. The spotlight states that she is a damage dealer and not a tank, yet they nerf her damage so much that she been turn into a tank that only there for knockups and scouting.
