So I'm changing my perma ban as an ADC...

Jhin was my permaban, I couldn't take his incredible long range and his ult triggered me really hard

but

Ashe has become unbearable and I see her every game in silver, I don't even have a problem with her arrow or her slows, but in all honesty she's the safest adc and has the highest dps out of them all, dueling an Ashe is probably the worst idea ever considering that she has that crazy steroid on her Q.

so you might say: "hey just poke her!" or "just all in her!" and I can tell you that I have faced several ashes in the span of a few days and they always come out on top, doesn't matter if the person behind has an awful laning phase, in mid game and late game she'll become the craziest ADC followed only maybe by Jhin ._.

I understand she has been hit by several nerfs but the clearest problem here is that she can build pretty much anything she feels like, there's not an optimal build path since she makes everything so effective, I've see Ashes with item 3142 first item, like wth? even Ashes with warlord's! and all of these versions have crazy high peaks of power, she isn't getting affected by mana costs at all or people would be building item 3508 as Riot had intended :S

Sad to admit I ban ashe. My twitch cannot deal with that stun to the face and massive Q dps for a long ass time. No idea why they gave a utility adc burst in the first place...

Haha I just checked your match history and gosh, Ashe sure is in almost every game you play.

If you personally can't or don't want to deal with her, just ban her. She's definitely one of the stronger carries atm but she's not OP.

On the other hand you could, and maybe even should, play her for about 20 games straight. This way you'll understand the champion's weaknesses and powerspikes alot better, which in turn will make it easier for you to deal with her in the future.

Hahaha that's the thing... I do play Ashe! or at least I used to... ever since she rose in popularity I kinda strayed away from her, when I use her it feels kinda unfair so I try not to... I know it's dumb but yeah

But aren't you trying to climb? All your games are played in ranked, I don't think you should care if it feels "fair" or not. If something is pick or ban aka freelo, (Atleast in your opinion) then abuse it! Pick it... or ban it.

If you won't, somebody else will. I'm not saying you should be a meta slave, but if you want to win, being one will make your life atleast a "tad bit easier", if you catch my drift.

I can't say you're wrong haha I am trying to climb of course, I just think that it's a matter of perspective... weird, having perspectives on a videogame but well, yeah, for me, winning with sheer skill is far more fulfilling than easy wins, it is only when a game presents you with a real challenge and your muscles ache and sometimes you even scream in the middle of a teamfight that it feels like you are indeed climbing. Abusing "freelo" is probably the most boring way of climbing and believe me if someone had my family held hostage and the only way for them to release them was me getting to platinum... it'd be Ashe/Jhin time, but since that's not the case... let's try and have some fun.

I also don't think Ashe and/or Jhin are freelo by any mean, I'm kinda tired of seeing them on every game though and their low skill floor seems to get into my nerves more often than not, this is also true with Ekko, at least for me, everytime I hear his W I swear I get the chills, even when I hear it on my friend's games

I do hover in between "freelo" champs and "non-meta" champs, so while I try not to pick the easy road, I try not to make a living hell for my teammates by picking say, Teemo APC bot.

I think that the best balance case Riot could achieve for ADCs is giving them clear identities that don't overlap too much, Ashe/Jhin have very clear identities but they're shadowed by their crazy numbers, if Ashe had a tad less dmg on her Q arrows (say from 27% at max level per arrow to 25%) she'd still be incredibly fine just not unbearable, currently her Q increases your damage tenfold, it's the BEST steroid in the game since it increases your damage on autos by 35% (135% total AD) AND it also increases your attack speed, her DPS doubles, it's crazy

Actually, Riot didnt intend for her to build ER. That sprung up when people were just using her mainly for utility.

And what's wrong with Warlords? It's the universal safe bet for ADCs (and btw, most pros have been taking it now)

There is nothing wrong with using Warlord's or not building Essence reaver.

Warlord itself is meant to increase your chances of survival and champions like Vayne or Graves use it amazingly, Ashe is simply another one that uses it incredibly well, both versions, Warlord's and Fervor are equally powerful without distinction, Fervor helps you survive by making you hit harder and warlord's increases your life span with crazy lifesteal.

The real problem is this one: Why pick Ashe? currently, people pick Ashe because she has the highest numbers and as riot have stated countless times, raw numbers shouldn't be a reason to pick a champion... more importantly, Ashe DOES have a niche, she's the adc with the most utility out of them all but this is shadowed by the fact that she also has the highest dps
