Could a riot staff member assist me in understanding the ranking system?

If you could review my match and help me understand what goes into ranking players inorder to attempt to get players into similar skill sets for matches it would be great because i am not understanding the system. How is it possible that 4 players can beat 5 players so handily if they have all been filtered for the last 12 months to get close to their proper skill as possible?

I honestly feel this is the most frustrating aspect of this wonderful game, yet i rarely see any changes to improve this aspect of the game systems. Are there plans to improve the accuracy of the ranking system?

Players can make mistakes. They can get in bad matchups or bad psynergy with their laning partners. Players can feed or just have never faced a certain opposing champion before, too. People sometimes try out new champions or roles in ranked. Some people have used champions or roles other than their best so much that they're very far from where they really should be in ranked. Or just get bad luck. And then this game is very snowbally so that if they make a couple little mistakes early on it can lead to it looking like they did horrible.

Btw, players are not nearly as close to their proper skill as possible. They're more like at it but with a normal distribution around it, with a standard deviation of at least about 100 mmr. So games can be a battle of underrated players and a battle of overrated players.

I 100% understand this and believe it to be true, however i can also tell using the eyeball test when players are simply far weaker players than the others in the match, their rotations, farm, reacting to action on the map, landing abilties, building correctly. That is what i see as the problem in many matches including the one i linked it was not bad synergy or off game or a minor mistake leading to an advantage, it was flat out major skill gap between the players, and i see it alot.
